I don't know what's worse, the fact that this is the only newly unveiled Wii U game, that you need amiibo to even play, or how the game plays itself.

Well, there was also Mario Tennis. Anyways, I will definitely not put this game at the top of my list.

Oh damn I forgots!

(facepalms) what happened after last year?!

This was my first reaction. I saw the Isabelle amiibo tapped onto the gamepad, at that moment I knew it. This was it, Animal Crossing for Wii U is here!!! Words could not express how happy I was. The second she walked out of the house and I saw the tiles on the ground I knew Nintendo dun goofed. So if you'll excuse me I will be crying myself to sleep tonight

Totally knew they were not going to make a real Animal Crossing for the Wii U.

Such a game would sell 3-4x more on the 3DS successor, it just never made sense to release it on Wii U once it became obvious that Wii U is going to sell worse than the GameCube.

I called this a long time ago, but people snapped at me over it.

This game is just something they threw together because they already had Animal Crossing HD assets due to the Animal Crossing Plaza app for the Wii U, so they just quickly slapped that into an Amiibo cash grab with a party game attached to it.

Nintentroll! The same happened to me, then again with Paper Mario.

its pretty sad how poorly amiibo have actually become in their implementation for Nintendo games.

If this is really true that you actually need 4 of them just to play 4 players, then I dont know what to say... that is quite laughable.

it comes with 2 amiibo+ you can use the amiibo cards. so no big deal...

It looked like the type of thing where Nintendo wanted to make an Animal Crossing for Wii U but then decided to either move it to NX or figure it wasn't worth developing so instead they just made this as an attempt to say "Here's your AC game on Wii U".

Did wherever you got that information from say how much the game is?

I didn't think it was possible, but they somehow made the garbage that is modern Mario Party even worse, all while dragging Animal Crossing down with it in a game you can't even play without an amiibo for each player for some dumb reason. I'd probably be banned if I gave my full thoughts on the game, so I'm asking for everyone else's instead! Also I didn't embed the video so you can go see how many dislike it's gotten.

Not only do we have to buy a spin off, we also get the honor of finding and buying extremely rare amiibo to unlock content!!!!

It looks cute... I won't pass it off just yet...
