Introducing - the Guess that NES Song Game! 

In this game, you have to guess all 10 NES Songs in the video below! You get 1 point for guessing the right game, but you get another point if you know the name of the song or accurately describe where the song plays!

Here's the catch! The video is only ~ 5 mins so you're only hearing 29 second samples of each song! All songs are from different video games!

RULES!

Song 1, 2 and 4 have very specific song titles. Please read my second post for more explanation or be specific as possible.

If you're going to guess a game that is a series in the NES, you must specify which game even if its the first one. 

For example: Final Fantasy I & Final Fantasy II. 

 This clears up any confusion. You will get half a point for guessing the right series even though you got the wrong game.

 All 10 song fades out to help you know when a new song is playing. Because of this you can simply list your your predictions like this:

... 

10. ???

... where #1 is the song that appears first and 10 is the song that appears last. I will also ask of you to use spoiler tags like the example above so people won't steal your answer (its in the drop window labeled Styles on the first row of buttons above your post). If you can't do that, then you're out of luck.* 

You can only enter your predictions once! I will later quote your post and give you a score in spoiler tags. I won't tell you which songs you got right though! Not until the end at least!

Game ends whenever the last prediction in the thread is 1 day old or this post is 3 days old. 

Game ends in 12 PM PT (that's Pacific Time!)

Get the highest score before then! I will edit the title if only 3 hours or less is remaining.

You may gloat your heart out and people will chant your name in glory to your awesome knowledge of selective NES songs that t3mporary_126 knows.**

Highlights:

Song 1: Everyone who guess Zelda II's song title got it right or close enough to be right

Song 2: Mario Bros. 3 song has too many names. But I gave a half point to those who said overworld. But if you said ground theme, you can add 0.5 pts as well. Will need to do further research of Mario Bros. levels before using them.

Song 6: In the beginning, very few people knew song 6 was Ducktales. But as more players entered, almost everyone got the song's game and title correct!

Song 7: I purposely chose the ending part of Metroid - Kraid's lair theme to see if it will trick anyone. And it seemed like it did! It still has pretty even score distribution at 0, 1, and 2 pts.

Song 8: Congrats to Prof and IvorEvilen for getting the game and/or song title right!

Song 9: Wizards and Warriors I was actually composed by David Wise! Looks like only one of you guys may have known this though!

Song 10: Mother shares similar score with Metroid at 0 pts, 1 pt, and 2 pts. In fact, they are actually the same distribution! 

Reflection: I apologize for the rough start! The first three players sort of acted like the guinea pigs of this round. But I will use this experience to make the next game more efficient. So thank you MZuzek, Hiku, and Spemanig for being the first three participants!

I'm also considering to private message scores in the next game. This way future players may not potentially steal answers when they see a high score in spoiler tags. The good news is everyone's predictions in this thread was unique!

The next game probably won't be ready until next Friday. No promises though. If I have not made one then, feel free to do one yourself!

That was fast! One of the song's name you need to be more specific on. (It's the song that you confidently answered)

But for now, you're score is a 5! I gave you credit for getting the right game. Also congrats for making the first prediction and thanks for playing!

Edit again: Actually there is one more song that you need to be more specific on. And its also the one you answerd confidently. 

Double edit (sorry): I'm willing to give you half a point more for both songs that I wanted you to be more specific if you can't get it right the second time. I'll add them anyway if you don't respond before the game ends as well.

However, one of the song title you need to be more specific on. I'm willng to give you half a point if you still can't get it right though.  Also you need to guess the correct game in the series in one of your predictions. I gave you half a point for guessing the series  right though.

I'm confused. What do you mean "each song is different?" I listed different songs lol.

Trust me, when i reveal the song's name and the game's soundtrack it will make sense. Also, this game is suppose to be hard (but also fun since it exposes you to new music). I'll explain more tomorrow if you need me to.

Edit: By the way, you're score right now is a 6 even if you fail to guess the correct title of the games I ask you to re-predict. So I'm still giving you partial points for having a pretty close description of the song. Also, providing players points for guessing the correct song title is providing an opportunity for more points. I could have left it at guessing the right game.
