Too bad she's voicing Alisha, who leaves partway into the game and is replaced by a new female lead (Rose). Oh well, at least there's a DLC focused on Alisha, we'll get all kinds of Laura Bailey goodness in that DLC.

PS. Laura Bailey is great.

Spoiler Alert!! XD

What they were thinking is that this game sells the most in Japan.

I dont get the PS4 port begging. I would much rather a Vesperia remaster on the PS4.

The release date is later than i expected aswell. I dont think its good if they miss the usual august release window.

Game will flop entirely on PS3. The console is pretty much dead. So, putting it on PS4 will give the game at chance to not fail like most Tales games in the West.

Quite excited they're listening to their fans about audio. I almost didn't finish Xillia.

Would loved it on my ps4 cause my ps3 decided to break on me must of gotten jealous.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

I´m totally guilty of port begging on this one. I mean sure I still have my PS3, it´s still hooked to my TV and Controllers are charged but I simply do not want to play on it right now (might change once a couple years have passed and it´s retro).
So unless there´s a PS4 Version announced, before its´release, this will most definitely not be a day 1 for me as I´ll wait for a later port or a significant price drop (usually tales games drop to 30€ after 3-4 months). C´mon Sony/Bamco I know you can do it! Digital only would be fine as well.

Yup...RO friggin rocked

There's no reason why the burden of a PS4 port should be placed sony, they have little reason to care with much bigger RPGs and Japanese titles on the horizon.

At some point some of these Japanese third parties have to pull their heads of out of their arses, especially with localisations.

I prefer a new tales of on ps4 than a port.

Thats Alexis Tipton and not Laura Bailey. As for the others idk. Milkeo sounds like ToS Lloyd but its not him. Scott has one range. I actually like all the voices so far. The opening lines for Sorey were so-so and after that I loved them

Well, yeah.  Some of us are greedy and want both.

You didnt read what i said. This game i aimed to the japanese market, not the western. In Japan PS3 was the best bet for sales and it was. If the game came out on the PS4 it would've sold about 100k in Japan. The installed base is only increasing now.

On the west, even if the game came to the PS4, i dont think it would substancially sell more. Its still a niche title. As i said, i would be more concerned if they missed their august window and went against the christmas juggernauts. That is what i am worried about.

And as i also said, if they are going to make something for the PS4, it would be better for us and for them if it was something that would add content and detail to the game and not just a straight port of a PS3 game.

So would I, but there's nothing wrong in wanting a port while we wait for a new Tales game.
