1) Yea but I doubt they would scrap the whole entire world for this... If anything, they are simply just adding in things...

2/3) I dont like delays either and publishers should just do a TBA if they really don't have a solid release window but it is what it is

4) Okay, I thought I read it was 10 people somewhere but WWHD was developed in 6 months and OOT3d and MM3d was co-developed by Grezzo and not to mention that HD development is a lot harder than 3ds development in terms of porting so I highly doubt those took very long or much man power

6) Well the transition from wii to wiiU is a bigger step than ps2 to ps3 or ps3 to ps4 and the wiiU has some dx11/dx10 (or equivalent) features which they can use in their next gen console where as since the wii was soo weak, a lot of the things were new to them with the wiiU. Whatever they learn now, a lot should be usable in their next gen console imo

1) Delays are not always good for Zelda.

4) And people told me Hyrule Warriors will be completly third party and we know how that ended.

6) It will help for sure in case the future development tools are similar to the Wii U ones.

1) Thats true but I feel like its more the exception but the norm

4) Thats true but with remasters, the developers have most of the things to work it already and they just have to update it to look more modern so I doubt the main developers had much involvement

6) The CPU might be different but since it will most likely be x86, it shouldnt be harder at all and the GPU should be perfectly fine since it will most likely be AMD since we know what happened with Sony/MS went to Nvidia so I think if they do an unified OS and stuff, the development in theory should be faster than the wiiU. Not to say there wont be any delays but it should be faster either ways

So youre done with consoles and are going to pc? but pc shares the same AAA games now...?

Exactly. There's very little difference, so why not play the superior versions of those games? I already buy all my AAA multiplats on PC and so Nintendo was really the only one doing anything different. Now that they are floundering I can't see any reason to go back to consoles after this gen.

There are lots of exclusives for the consoles, like bloodborne and the ps4 gets massive anime/jrpg games. Add in the wiius and xbox 1s exclsuives there is a loit to play on consoles. Just giving advice

1) And this could be the exception. The game not showed at E3 doesn't bodes well. Something major must be occurring behind courtains.

I don't see the delay as a declaration of Nintendo reconstructing or changing the game they are already making. If anything, they only figured they needed more time for exactly that, and for adding the new ideas they came up with in the midst of development. Which has always been the case.

The game is not going to be even at E3 because they don't want to show it. That doesn't ring the alarms for you?

Not particularly. Nintendo showed it's lack of interest for E3 many times. But i'm assuming you brought this up because they might indeed reconstruct the game. Though this sounds to me like you're concerned about the game itself and not the delay. Because frankly the only things I saw from the demo is the big open world, some new mechanics and graphics, everything else was mostly speculated.

It's too early to tell that it will be reconstructed and it's ludicrous to think the hypothetical changes will make it worse.

1) True or it could be the norm. Who knows, maybe it could be like the Zelda similar to the e3 tech demo we saw way back! I am very surprised that there isn't an e3 showing though but its best not to think too hard about it until we get more info

I'm not honestly that surprised by the delay, I'm more like mad about the delay+reconstruction+no E3 show. It really concerns me. And I'm fucking tired of remakes.

I feel you. I wish they worked on it a lot earlier than they had.

at first I thought it was one of your negative Nintendo threads but fuuuck, it wasn't!!

I really want the best game they can possibly make but damn I sure hope it's not holiday 2016 :(
the stupid thing was that it really felt they would release it on time for a change.. oh well

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

And let's go even further. If they are delaying this game, according to some until 2016 just like SS to 2011, do this means there are not a lot more Wii U games in developement?
