Well now we can expect Xenoblade to be the big game this year. Meaning it will be delayed to the holidays. WiiU is done. Just release the next console...

1) Well.. They delayed it cause they got some new ideas and stuff so I doubt the game itself will go down in quality and expectations

2) Isn't that in 2016... It kinda makes sense if it got delayed to 2016 when its Zelda's anniversary...

3) Probably in 2016 cause 30th anniversary makes too much sense

4) That took like what? 10 people?

6) Master the HD with the wiiU, get an unified OS, speed up development time

My thoughts.

This isn't an NX title. They are just wanting to make it the best game it can be on the Wii U and they've come up with new concepts for the game, and rather than scrapping those ideas and making it a worse game as a result, they're delaying it so they can fully realize the game's potential. And next year is the 30th anniversary, so I highly doubt it will be delayed after that.

But wouldn't it make more sense to launch it with a new system than to waste resources and send this game to die on a failing console?

Not that I want that, I just think that it would be pointless to launch a huge game on a console that has sold less than shit.

Well, on the positive side that saves me from having to buy a Wii U this holiday season. Starfox and, um, whatever the other game is that's coming out for the system in the 2nd half just aren't enough to justify a purchase.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I don't see the delay as a declaration of Nintendo reconstructing or changing the game they are already making. If anything, they only figured they needed more time for exactly that, and for adding the new ideas they came up with in the midst of development. Which has always been the case.

The game is not going to be even at E3 because they don't want to show it. That doesn't ring the alarms for you?

Nintendo not showing the fans anything at e3 shows a complete lack of respect. Keeping the fans in dark for another year will cause many to jump what already is a sinking ship.

The next console will be like 1500p or whatever it is after 1080p capable. They will have droughts. They will struggle. They will fail. And they will die.

If they cannot expand or go to a business school....

That was exactly the same they said about Twilight Princess.

Pretty sure I'm done with Nintendo and consoles in general now. I'm going back to PC full time. I'll get Zelda when it eventually comes out, but it's the lack of Metroid that sucks the most tbh.

So youre done with consoles and are going to pc? but pc shares the same AAA games now...?

Exactly. There's very little difference, so why not play the superior versions of those games? I already buy all my AAA multiplats on PC and so Nintendo was really the only one doing anything different. Now that they are floundering I can't see any reason to go back to consoles after this gen.

Can't forget Nintendo's stock just shot up big time, thanks to the mobile news. This means they aren't in a rush anymore and will ride the Wii U out until '17 without question. Nintendo is now relieved not to quickly push out an ambitious project like Zelda U.

Even with Zelda U, '16 is looking barren and many expect the NX HH to release either that holiday or spring '17. Making Zelda U a cross gen title satisfies everyone, those invested in U and next gen launch.

I'm with ya buddy. Only instead of spending money on current gen, I'm going back and investing in SNES and Genesis games. Seems like a much better deal and a much safer bet. Plus, $20.00 on a classic>$60.00 on a current gen game imo.
