Forums - Gaming Discussion - Why you shouldn't lend your PSP to anyone.

Anything I lend out I do it with the expectation of either not getting it back or not getting it back in the same condition I loaned it out in.

I purchased my PSP on launch day. It was perfect, no dead pixels which was one of the main problems with the initial PSPs released. I've used it quite frequently and took it to a lot of trips to pass the time. During this usage it has never been dropped and the screen only has minor hairline scratches, nothing that would disrupt gameplay or porn viewing. This month marks the PSP's third anniversary since it's North American release and it was perfect....until I lent it to a girl.

She's had it for only three weeks, repeat, three weeks, and now it's ruined. Apperantly she had it by her bedside table and "somebody" spilled oil on it. Who is this somebody and how come I've never gotten to use this oil? Why do girls keep dangerous PSP killing fluids by their bed? I have not seen the damage myself yet, but she says a large portion is "dark". So it's pretty much gone.

Not all is lost, she did agree to buy me a brand new one...the special edition PSP with Darth Vader on it. I will miss my orignal PSP, but I really can't complain about a free upgrade.

 Made me seriously LOL.

You, Mancandy, know how to tell a story!

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

360 IS OPERATIONAL AFTER 37 DAYS!

Either make her pay for it, or demand a root.

simple answer be selfish lol

^great way to get free games and accessories for PS3,360,Wii,PSP and DS. Residents of US,UK,CANADA and AUSTRALIA (It actually Works i have done it and their is testimonials with pics)

I'm not sure why everyone is saying a slim PSP can't play homebrew because it can. The Slim PSP can downgrade firmware also and the major custom firmwares are all compatible now. Go to www.psp-hacks.com and you can find everything out there.

My brother want a PSP to watch videos, which model you recommend?

Wow. Many sympathies and she better buy you a new one!

Oil near bed? I can only think of vaseline or KY.
