The trophies are the reward...

The Xbox 360 never did this. The Xbox One never did this. There isn't a point to this except, "Gimme free things!" Sony wouldn't profit. They would be rewarding you for playing a game that you bought. To put it in the nicest possible way I can, that's just silly.

Xbox has Avatar Awards on top of some of their games, which (surprise) unlock stuff for your avatars. They work like achievements, but they aren't added to the total amount of achievements or Gamerscore.

Obviously that's not that much.

That's still not like anything the OP was saying, but that at least seems more feasible. I don't think I want Sony focused on that personally, but at least that makes more sense than PSN credit and whatnot. Thank you for educating me.

dynamic themes or the soundtrack of the game for platin trophies
avatars and standard themes for gold trophies
all relating to the game

must do. cheap and valuable.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

They can't give away money for trophies because that'd create huge losses for them. Trophies are just nice to have, earning them is its own reward

"I want more stuff for no reason"

Is what I heard. :P

4 ≈ One

THIS is why when Nintendo creates thier trophy/achievement system, I want them to AT LEAST make it so trophies fit together to make moving pictures. So like Streetpass puzzles, except the puzzle piece is the reward for the getting the trophy too.

Also, small rewards , such as rupees for Hyrule Warriors, should happen for every 3 or something trophies one collects. The prizes would be not major, like the cheap Uplay rewards.

Sony could take things away and they would still be the #1 seller. They can add whatever they want, whenever they feel like it ;)

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
