well yeah both are amazing games, but I want better gameplay and level design, at least they should develop the levels more open like that uncharted 4 demo.
Whats the 2nd team doing then? Or are they saying they both are working on Uncharted? Im all for them taking the time and resources to make it great but how about finding another person to direct a game. Neil and Bruce are amazing but ND shouldn't revolve around them. I'd be working on a new IP with team two and when Uncharted 4is done if Neil and Bruce want to do The Last of Us 2 go for it.

Sonys discovered that linear tightly scripted narritives are a wining formula after the uncharted and god of war series's, so I wouldn't expect too many open world games from then. Please god, don't let horizon be linear scripted narritive........
There's going to be a The Last Of Us 2. Look at how much its being bundles/pushed/promoted by Sony. They wouldn't do that unless they wanted to keep the brand relevant.

There's a long way between open world and having more open ended encounters

Nope. Maybe. Yes.

Sony is very leniant on Naughty Dog. They can make whatever they want, and won't be forced to make a TLOU sequel just because it will make money.
Besides, anything Naughty Dogs develops will make money.
