Naughty Dog were one of the few that could make legit 3d platformers aside from Insomniac, Sucker Punch, and Nintendo. Now Sanzaru made a great Sly but given its sales (not the game's fault as it was the best Sly to date imo and was not advertised enough for the first release in 7 years) they may not get another shot. I LOVE Uncharted and TLoU but it's sad to see 1 of maybe 4 companies that's still going to make these things leave them behind when a lot of companies can make action adventure/horror titles (albeit not as good as Uncharted or TLoU)

Im sure TLoU2 will eventually be made. Amazing game and something they can build on after the ending of the first. It also has the potential of being their biggest franchise.

I love Uncharted though so im happy theyre focusing on it. I want to be blown away once Uncharted 4 comes out

I disagree as strongly as possible with that sentiment. Keep the Last of Us franchise as a linear tightly scripted narritive. Just keep developing the variety of gameplay options that the first one developed with open environments, a good variety of tools and mostly intelligent AI

I would want to see a sequel only if they pulled a Resident Evil 2. If TLOU 2 has nothing to do with Joel & Ellie, and takes place somewhere else, that'd be good. I want to see new characters and all.

If not, I'd much rather have a new IP.

I haven't played any Uncharted games yet but already hope 4 is the last. I know it sells well but TLOU showed that ND is capable of doing other great games too.

lol I don't believe for one second it's 50/50 on a sequel. It was easily their best game to date (IMO) and has sold great for a new IP.
