Yes. Any computer can have a virus, some dickhead just needs to create it.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

For the love of god its not a virus. Its hardware and its a very easy fix.

Lol! It's fucking virus people..

If a problem is happening with a system that's not supposed to be there.. it's a virus

YLOD on PS3 was a virus. RROD on 360 was a virus. "Disc read error" on PS2 was a virus.

If some shit that you dont want happening is happening, it's a virus. If it has to be "fixed", its a virus.

No... That's not a virus at all. A virus is a program that is designed to replicate itself and bog down your system to the point where it is unusable. There is also variations of malware that can have different effects like corrupting your system files or deleting them, add new files or programs on your computer (trojans) that will do various things. That's funny though.

You probably have a hardware malfunction. If it is a virus of some sort, it's a pretty funny one. A code that constantly tells the computer to eject the disc drive. That would be maddening.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

Hes asking about consoles. This issue obviously isnt a virus. So your response shouldve been yea but then put what you put in the other response.

I fixed mine yesterday that had this exact issue and its as easy as lifting the console vertical.

LOL, a virus. Happened to me once, freaked me out. I turned the system off, unplugged it, set it back up the next day vertical and hasn't happened since.

A console is a computer. This issue is very unlikely a virus, especially if it's inconsistant.

The question was "consoles can have viruses?". The answer is YES. As long as there is an OS it can have a virus. Hell, there are even virus's for BIOS now... It just takes someone to create it for the system.

LOL Virus. YLOD and RROD were defects. YLODs were caused by many things like a very dirty Ps3(if you don't clean out the dust), or that thermal paste problem caused by overheating or something.

You are panicking for no reason. First, just turn all options for the PS4 to do stuff by itself off. I imagine this is some bug.

If that doesnt work, you can always unplugg it from the power. I garantee its not gonna do anything shady if you do that.
