"Miranda" as Captain Marvel?

Forums - Movies Discussion - "Miranda" as Captain Marvel?

Not this Miranda.

Nor this Miranda

This Miranda!

Yvonne Strahofsky looks totally right for her. Make it happen!

Edit: For those who've been living under a rock, and exclusively Nintendo fans, Miranda is a character in Mass Effect 2 and 3 voiced by Yvonne Strahofsky.

Apparently the greatest fan favourite to play captain marvel is Katee Sackhoff from Battlestar Galactica. I would prefer her to. She is a far better actress than Chucks other half

Whoever said life to be like a box of chocolates clearly didn't know what he was talking about.

Life is more like a game of bumper cars. At every turn there is a possibility you will get screwed.

I've been an eager follower of the MCU, but I still have no goddamn idea who Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange are... >_>

Several people in the MCU have been Captain Marvel, including an alien named Mar-Vel once.

Currently, Captain Marvel is Carol Danvers, the former Miss Marvel.

When I heard about this film I was so excited, then I heard it was Carol not Mar-Vell, I was insulted.

... oh Katee Sackhoff should be fine I guess.

Hmm, pie.

Your post confuses me, you are a fan of the Marvel Comics Universe but you don't know who 3 of their most famous characters are? I hate the DCU but I still know who Mr Terrific is.

Hmm, pie.

MCU generally refers to Marvel CINEMATIC  Universe

I've only heard of them because they've had films announced

Yeah... I knew, just trying to be funny (badly). MU is the general term for the comics after all (or 616, you know the MCU has a number? 199999 apparently). It stands to reason that Dr Strange, Black Panther and Carol Danvers are not heard of in the films really. Why would they, by going off Ironman 1, who would have heard of Captain America?

Hmm, pie.

Wow, there's gonna be a ton of new Marvel lore for me to catch up on when the movies release.

I hope they won't milk the franchise too much. Phase 3 looking good but if Phase 4 comes around and a character that only appeared in 2 pages of a low profile spiderman issue gets put to screen...

Why insulted? Finally there will be a top tier avenger who doesn't have a penis.
