Well the Spurs did what they needed to do to advance to the next round on the road now they just need to take care of their home court. OKC firing Brooks was a good move but the team also still has a lot of roster issues.

Durant and Westbrook are both probably going to leave, so it'll be really interesting to see who they hire. As for now rumours are suggesting the Thunders are targeting Billy Donovan.

Well you got it right they did get Billy Donovan can't really blame him for taking the job pretty much every top level college coach would have taken that job except for coach K.  Much better situation than his first offer from a pro team with Orlando although back then they had a pretty good roster.

I don't think Izzo, Pitino or Calipari would have taken it either. There's just too much uncertainty on what Durant and Westbrook are going to do when their contracts expire. It'll be interesting to see how he runs the offense with two of the top ten players in the league.

I guess you're right about Izzo and Pitino but I think Calipari will end up in the pro's sooner or later.

I gotta admit I didn't see the Brooks firing coming. Talk about "what have you done for me lately" jeez. Thunder should be fine though.

Brooks has been consistently incompetent. He was so in over his head. He wouldn't have lasted two seasons had they not gotten lucky in the draft.

Completely agree about Calipari. I just don't think he'd take the Oklahoma City job. There's too many uncertainties with it.

Yeah he did get lucky with Durant. Just like Spoelstra did with Lebron.

Spoelstra was better as he was able to manage his team better and win 2 rings. There's a reason that he's not considered one of the greatest of all time, but only a good coach.
