I have been using essentially the same flip phone since 2005, so no, I don't care about how cell phones change. My current one which is almost identical to the one I owned ten years ago allows me to communicate with others quite well.

I just need more battery, there is nothing revolutionary in the industry, that I would like to do in my Phone.

Yes, it's called having a more efficient battery, screen, and chipset combo.
I'm fine with phones staying as they are for now, since my wants are actually really niche.
I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I honestly think a modular phone is the best route to take.
It allows customisation by the user using pre-approved manufactured hardware.

I'm paying $10 a month for unlimited talk and text. Wi-fi data only. I'm satisfied. If I want to play games I'll play on a dedicated device.
To be honest though the personal computer interface of a screen + keyboard + mouse largely remained the same for about 25-30 years and it's still a predominant interface especially in the workplace.
So maybe the smartphone interface will remain largely the same. It just works well and there isn't a huge reason to change it.
I think the biggest change will eventually be the voice stuff, once Siri and what not gets even better then it maybe more possible to interface fully with the phone just with voice.
Buy a Sony Z2
I can get through 3 days occasionally, but 2 days of moderate use
But really, you must be sitting at a desk for an hour a day? Just get a wireless phone charger (I have a magnetic dock), that's all the charging you really need
They should make a cell phone that you can plug into the wall, And I think it should have buttons. And remove the touch screen. Touch screens were just a fad.
