I googled "Anitta Mirror's Edge 2" and similar keywords, and all I found was links to the petition. I also found amateur articles and threads on forums outraged at this, but not a single credible source of this. It all sounds like some sort of rumor.
...so what's up with this petition again? Did EA ever confirm this information? What's their sources?
lol, EA is just using her as a headpiece, if I was the the developer/director of the project and she(or anyone) tried to tell me what to include I'd be like do you have a degree in computer programming? No? Please go sit in the corner.

The big deal is there are more qualified people who arent trying to push and agenda and have experience of both equality ethics and game development.
Anita is literally a youtube commentor being given a job to infect games with agenda. Gamers dont want agenda. As evidence by the 7000 quick signings of the petition. We just want good games. Not games that sell us an ideology. We're not a religion and we're not open to accepting new religious or idealistic beliefs. We just wanna play good games.

I'm gonna ask again, why are you so outraged and why does this petition exists? Was there any pronunciation from EA regarding this? A credible website reporting this news? What's your source on this one?

I believe this petition plays right into her hands. After all she is famous only for being hated. The more hate she gets, the stronger she becomes.
