I hope they just keep it smart...
making money from it.... buy keep releasing new great games on consoles home and handheld.

Mobile should only be for app, old games and make tons of money to support us!

What? Considering I play on a Sony TV, I want Sony games on my system. Therefore, PS1 games on my upcoming Wii U is needed.

Well one can always dream right? :-p But Wii-U's install base is to small honestly, bringing some older titles to ps4 would be very profitable for Nintendo.

It just means that probably all current GB emulators will get a cease and desist letter soon and we will be stuck with Nintendo's one.



Bet with jetforcejiminy: PS4 will pass the Wii lifetime numbers.

Current emulators aren't illegal. ROMs are, emulators aren't. But if Nintendo gets a patent, all GB emulators will be automatically illegal and Nintendo could emit cease and desist orders against its developers and start sueing them. If they become really interested in making their emulator the only one, they could start a fight that would, at least, make way less emulators available.
