I know I said a few months ago that Akame ga Kill would make a good anime but ... the truth is, I've been too squeamish to watch it. So much death.

So far, I've been watching:

Ao Haru Ride -- though I found the manga to be boring eventually, it's very good at first, which is probably all the anime is going to cover.

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun -- A fun, light-hearted anime. Sakura is cute

Sabagebu! -- Hilarious. The main character kills me.

Magimoji Rurumo -- It's cute. Waiting to see if it keeps my interest.

Invaders of the Rokujyōma -- First episode was fun but I haven't really been impressed since. Might drop it.

Going to try a few others eventually. Tokyo Ghoul is a good manga, I'll probably watch that.

I want more Non Non Biyori.

My guss is vanilla boring mainstream anime.

You know, the stuff that gets recommended everywhere to newbies.

I like anime, I watch a lot of anime, but I don't enjoy talking to others about anime, because most mainstream anime feels unsatisfyingly shallow to me (I guess I'm a snob).

Can I join? I'm new to animes in general, but thanks to 2 peculiar persons, I'm getting into it The only show you can call an "anime" that I have seen completely is DB, though.

Right now I'm watching: 

Ao Haru Ride: In my opinion a girls show, funny, easy to relate to, cute, and dumb. And I love it.

SAO: Not liking it to much. Don't know why, but it feels soooo cliche-ish and obvious that I can't enjoy it. I'm only 3 episodes into it, so hopefully I start to enjoy it more.

The Melancholy of Haruhi: ... Do I need to say something? Really, it has no explanation.

Great news about the thread. As a relative anime noob, I'll frequent this thread often for some recommendations.
I usually wait for the season to be over, and then watch all episodes at once (I do that with all episodic content).
Just started watching Chaika Coffin Princess, and finished Nanana's Buried Treasure.

As soon as I'm home I'm gonna share my Anime list. It's self made with excel including a bunch of statistics.

I'm thinking of doing a proper list on myanimelist.net but it seems so much work now since I'd have to enter hundreds of animes and have to adjust my rating system.
