Gravity Rush is free with PS+, I would just get that if you don't have it.

I think it was removed recently from the IGC :(

What? After being on there since the Vita got PS+? Damn.

Yeah, end of an era really. Uncharted, Wipeout, and Gravity Rush were the first three games I downloaded on my Vita. It's weird not seeing them on PS Plus anymore.

This last E3 was make or break for Vita and Sony abandoned it. It doesn't mean it isn't a great little system
but any hope of it achieving mainstream success is gone IMO

It's the classic "I bought a new product and I love it to death" syndrome. You will get over it pretty quickly, specially after you finish most of the worthwile games that the Vita has to offer... And that could take.. a week, maybe.

I thought that in March 2012... Vita is still my primary gaming platform. I actually find the 3DS very difficult to go back to as it feels archaic in comparison. Lucky for Nintendo their best stuff really is truly epic.

Also not sure how it's "too expensive with overpriced memory cards" you can get them with 10 games and a 16gb memory card for £150 which is far cheaper than any equivalent 3DS or 2DS bundle. It certainly makes for a great unsubstantiated rhetoric from the 3DS fans.

Welcome to the Vita club OP it's a wonderful console with a solid lineup and some great exclusives (if not mainstream) it has a lot to offer any open minded gamer who isn't stuck to the big name IPs. Danganronpa is still on track for GOTY.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

While the vita is a great handheld, I'm sure that it was not worth the 700 dollars you used up on it. I'm sure the original PSP has a ton of JRPG's and Sony exclusives to keep you occupied for a much longer time.

As others have said it is a shame that Sony do not believe that things can get better for the handheld... They need to keep the new games coming and stop thinking that a port of an old PS3 game here and there will make a difference!

I really am looking forward to Freedom Wars and Gravity Rush 2 (not yet 'official' but as good as) and found that the Lego games work amazingly well on the console (Lego Batman 2 was brilliant to play on it).

Not to mention the other games that I have ongoing at the moment being Persona 4 Golden, Sly Cooper Trilogy, Killzone Mercenary etc...

You sir are a genius. Can't even believe myself for how much I have suffered from this syndrom in the past, it mostly involves ignoring its shortcomings and praising it like no tomorrow.

.. but the Vita is PSP compatible (digital), so he can play both on Vita?

funny, I have had mine for more than 1 1/2 years and I'm not even close to the half way point of finishing "the worthwhile games"

I was meaning that the psp would have been much cheaper and seeing how he usually  plays ps1 games and sony exclusive the psp would have been a better choice if only for the huge amount of sony exclusives.

Thanks for the genius part Mr. Playstation. There is a cure though and it's called "Buying a new product and forgeting all about that other product you used to love and love your new product to death".
