 Ouch, that has to suck.  I accidently tilted my 360 slightly forward to get at the USB port in the back and it made the most horrible sound that I had heard before, thank god that it didn't scratch my disc though.  I hate touching the damn thing.

Because it happens hell of a lot less that a ps3 breaks down, almost no one had that problem, except you!

It must be something to do with Australia.. 4 for my friends have 360's and my friend (brenton) RROD (andrew) RROD and (thomas) keeps freezing when you play in for a couple of hours.

Only one that hasn't sceaw'd up is (blakes) elite and thats cause he never plays it.

I had a Xbox 360 and sold it within 2 months of my purchase, i now have a PS3 which kicks the living shit out of it...i think more people should switch and the ammount of defective 360's should deter people from having a 360.

I got the red winkers two weeks b4 DMC4. 360 only gets exclusives now. Multi plats i get for my ps3. Good job they rnt shit anymore

Sony fan boys are so blind they can not realize that Sony is so similar to Microsoft. Both Sony and Microsoft are large companies, who will do whatever it takes to get consumers money. If you make a negative statement against Sony you are considered a troll but if you make a negative statement against Microsoft no one notices.
Sony has a monopoly upon the film/music industry and from the mid 1990's until now Sony has been heading towards having a monopoly on the video game industry. In the past 15 years Sony has little or no competition when it had both PSX and PS2 consoles. In both eras Sony held over a 75% market share on console gaming.
Thank god, Nintendo has released the Wii and Microsoft's X360 is doing better than with the XBox. There is now competition for a change.

I have a Wii and a PS3... I play alot on X360's when im at friends' houses.

X360 is really fun to play... It has some nice exclusives. But it's just a given that the damned thing breaks down alot. (= High failure rate).

PS2 has the same thing (but that was with the disc-reader and only happened after 3-4 years mostely).

Multiplatform titles look better on X360?... The ones that do were developed with the X360 as a main-platform because it was a year earlier on the market. Was easier to develop for. Had a bigger installed base.

X360's hardware is not per definition stronger than PS3's hardware so that is just temporarily. Btw, CoD4 looks better on PS3.

Then i guess your just unlucky or talking BS because there haven't been any reports on massive PS3 breakdowns. Your also bitching on Blu-ray. But fact is that Blu-ray has won and you can't seem to stand it.

Brandname is also BS, because when you sell the most consoles, you have the most games... And i guess that is why the PS2's line-up is more diverse than the Xbox's and the GC's... As such, it doesn't just relly on brandname.
