What's with the negativity towards 343i and Halo? Uncharted doesn't get better as a game just because you try to downplay Halo you know ;). Also, there is nothing that says core gamers have gone one way or the other, we are only at the beginning of this generation, and Halo fans are some of the most dedicated fans around.

My guess is both will break 5 million with Halo slightly higher than Uncharted. Meta score will be slightly higher for Uncharted though, and both games will be great.

Gamers like you call it negativity, but sales analysts like me call it being blunt.

Yet you fail to take into account that Halo 4 has sold well in range with all the other Halo games in the main series (not even counting digital sales) and that Halo MCC jumped straight to number one on Amazon. Also, great news for Watchdogs on PS4, but that doesn´t diminish the uccess of Titanfall on X1, it only means that these releases have really high attach rates on both consoles, only further pointing to both Uncharted, Zelda U and Halo 5 selling extremely well.

The point you try to make in regards to meta score... seriously a conspiracy thery? Or it could be that the Halo games are really good?

Halo 4 was riding off the successes of the previous Halo.

Gamers will remember the Halo 4 disaster when they see halo 5 at a game shop. Most will pass over it in favor of PS4 destiny.

XBone sales are really gonna have to pick up to meet these 8M and 9M predictions. Otherwise you guys are expecting some unprecedented attach ratio.

This is not a deep analysis but a simple guess instead, so keep that in mind.

You'd think from history Zelda would easily get the higest score, around 95. The others seem likely to be around or just above 90.

Uncharted will be the first AAA exclusive PS4 game, with a growing install base from the PS3, who did managed 6M+ Uncharted 3 even being to almost everyone inferior to Uncharted 2. So it will sell well over other Uncharteds.
Zelda wasn't hyped like this in a loooong time, and Wii U owners just showed with MK8 that they want the games, and now with a almost entirely hardcore Nintendo fanbase on the console, it will sell really high.
That's IMO of course.

Wasn't Infamous Second Son  and Killzone were the first AAA exclusive PS4 games? :P

 

Anyway, expecting any of these titles to beat their last gen counteraparts by more than a million is hopeful at best.

Halo series is starting to wind down. It still has its diehard fans but the Xbox and Halo brands have been damaged by the Xbone and Halo 4 respectively. It will be frontloaded thanks to die hard fans of the series.

Uncharted 4 is the swan song of the series so I expect it to at least match its predecessors and perhaps beat them by a little bit.

Zelda U is already drawing massive hype. If Zelda WW remake can grab 1.2 million on a small userbase, I think this Zelda can get to 5 million, especially if it is in a bundle.

Majora's Mask is darkest Zelda and it sold like shit.
