According to Wikipedia (lol) the US avarage income is $55,047 and the UK is $44,222. The US also has more disposible income.

Canada should adopt the US dollar and there would be price parity. Problem would be solved :)

Yea, other retailers might follow this too. That would also make the XO $550 ($627 inc. taxes). Kind of reminds of the not so old days of PS3 launch. The system was $659 ($752 after taxes) and games were $80 bucks. I think the xbox 360 pro was $570 with taxes. Maybe Wii U prices wont' go up as much as it can usually be found with some sort of discount currently. No wonder people found ps4 price really cheap. The wages though have barely kept up with inflation over the years.

Certainly won't be pretty.

Well its too early to say anything but if this gets adopted at every major store chain while MS keeps X1 at $499......well that will be fun to talk about.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I don't know why they would do that unless a price cut is announced soon at E3 or something. Even then Canadian market is what like 1/10th the size of US market. Won't make that big of a difference in terms of sales.

1:0 for early adopters!

Who mentioned a price cut? It is a price inflation. Just saying if Sony raises prices and MS doesn't, well regardless of market size, it can be seen as one taking advantage of their positive sales trends. But again its premature now.
