Dude its over. CBoat has been shown up by Respawn thhemselves in the thread he made to post this rumour. CBoat is a lying fanboy. It wass done in such awesome fashion by the Respawn staff going on Neogaf and making a bet with him that if hes wrong he gets permabanned. LOL. They are actually trying to increase the res. ROFL.

No one know who CBOAT is, while Thuway openly states his name. Both just seem to have friends in the industry. Same as FamousMortimer.

 

Cboat's track record was amazing. He's been accurately leaking stuff since before the 360 launch. At the beginning of last year year though he only had like 30 posts. When he posted, it was huge. With next gen though he kinda became a regular. His post count is up to 113. In addition, he's got lots and lots of things wrong and tarnished his near perfect track record. This recent leak is really strange because it's already a fact that texture resolution isn't going back to how it was in the alpha.

 

 

Personally famousmortimer is the best leaker out there. He's been around for a long time leaking games and stuff, but his PS4NoDRM twitter campaign really put him in the spot light. He just tells it exactly how it is, instead of hinting things. He does make mistakes, but he's very open about them. He certainly prefers Sony and knows way more people there, but he just tells us what he hears.

I think they may have figured out who CBOAT is and have been feeding him wrong info, now, to tarnish his reputation.  That whole thing that went dwn recently with the big One leak thread just seemed fishy.

792p vs 720p seems like a non-issue.

Locked 60fps is surely much more important in a MP FPS game. 792 seems like a pretty odd sort of number anyway. Perhaps they Beta'd at 792 to see if they could get solid performance and bump up to 900p 60fps. But if there wasn't the capacity to do this then it would release at standard HD resolution.

I think its time for vgchartz to to institute a perma ban on anyone posting cboat crap from here on out. No surprise this comes out the same day "thiefs" ps4 framerate issues surfaced, this guy needs to just go away.
