Xbox is the only one of the 3 to post a profit every quater since 2008 Q3. What happened at the beginning is irrelevant. If someone was looking to aquire Xbox today it would be based on it being consistantly profitable for the last 5 years.

You do realize that they hide the losses with android patent liscensing, right ? 

You do know thats bullshit right?  I mean... just plain wrong.  Different divison unfortunately for you.

They only have one divsion that handles xbox and that's entertainment and devices but they also handle windows phone too so I wonder where android patent licensing would go ...

Why even post such an ill researched article? It seems to me that Xbox fans are just holding out hope that Sony will go under soon so that PS can suffer from it, as Xbox can't win when it's a fair fight. It's ok, there's no chance that that is going to happen, but they can continue to hope, I suppose. If anything, Sony will recover to a much better position. They have plenty of profit rolling in from the PS division, music division, movie division, and insurances. Phone division is now solid. And changes are underway to handle the divisions that are causing the losses, TV and PC.

Personally, I think you guys should be looking out for the Xbox division. If sales don't turn around for the One, then that means lower SW and Live profits as MS drops the 360 and gamers move on to next gen. Investors are not going to want to keep it around if it becomes a sinkhole, yet again.

The divisions were change BEFORE the last results.

Try and keep up if you are going to comment about financial topics.

Sony has 14b in debt, not 60b. Where did you get that number? And most Sony fans know perfectly well that Sony isn't doing well. They know because certain people like to remind them of that every 5 seconds.
