Certain games highly anticipated by Nintendo fans are launched, like Mario Kart 8, SSB, DKCTF and others,

And

Price cut to $250 in the USA (and comparable price cut everywhere else)?

It could happen. It's possible that the blue ocean Wii swam in is sitting on the sidelines waiting for Wii U to get into their price zone, which was $250 for Wii, and that people like me are dead wrong that most of the blue ocean were one time only console buyers. I still think the blue ocean has largely abandoned consoles but I could be wrong.

So could the blue ocean people come back? Also, if they do will they start getting into more of the "hardcore" video games and entice 3rd party devs to put more effort into Wii U. Or would the blue ocean mostly buy the same sorts of games they did on Wii?

*permanently means for at least 2 years and and until about 18 months to 2 years before WiiU2 launches, occasional dips below 150K during especially slow weeks for all consoles can still be expected.

0 chance of it happening no matter what because nintendo was too god damned late with their high profile titles.

There's a better chance of me winning the California lottery twice.

Nothing short of a miracle. It's selling roughly 50k a week while being overtracked heavily in the US, so it's probably doing under 40k per week currently. Mario Kart and Smash Bros can't triple the sales on their own.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Well you gotta think, sometimes it's a lot less about sheer numbers and more about overall profit. Just look at the 3DS. A price cut could be more damaging than good to Nintendo at this point. As for the games, they will inevitably sell well, but the main people purchasing them will be people who either already own a Wii-U or plan on buying one in the near future. Just look at the GC; these same games sold great on that platform, but didn't prevent from finishing off the 6th gen in last place. Only time will tell though.

Also let us not forget the serious predicament Nintendo is in with third party support at the moment. There's no way the system can do much better without better third party support. A console can NOT sell on exclusives alone. I'm sure we all remember the Dreamcast...

There will be big boosts here and there, especially holidays but unfortunately nothing consistent.
