lol @ the "lazy developer" comments. It says right in article "Respawn's dedication to 60fps locked experience" and MW and MW2 were locked at 60fps. There's no precedent to call them lazy, especially when they're making an "exclusive" game, so they're focusing all their resources into the Xbone.

Do you expect the 360 version to be 60fps cos i dont, and if it was that would be quite embarasing for XO if there similar res and same framerate.

And lead platform or not 360 is going to be where all the business is done sales wise.

I don't know what to expect from the 360 version considering it's being developed by Bluepoint Games, a studio that's done nothing but ports. The only original game they made was Blast Factor, which was pretty meh. The rest were PS2 upgrades (which shouldn't be hard to do, performance wise), a Vita port of PS All Stars, and a flOwer port for PS4 (another upgrade from a previous gen).

The only comparable thing I could say is comparable is PS All Stars because their port went "down" (PS3 to Vita) to a lower system (or XBone to 360 in this case). But that's not a fair comparison to compare work console to console vs console to handheld

ill give them credit on the flower port its actually pretty good.  seems like they are just down porting to the 360 and they seem to specialize in ports so im sure the 360 version will be fine

Frankly, it looks like a last gen game...

Isn't the complaint that many 8th gen games look like last gen games?

The most significant difference we're seeing in graphics are often resolution, textures, frame rate, lighting effects, less pop up, etc.

If you lower the visual quality, most 8th gen games can easily be on PS3 or 360.

No.  Killzone, InFamous, BF4, AC4, and even Ryse look leagues better than last gen.

AC4 does not look much different on 8th gen and still runs at 30 fps. I've played BF4 thoroughly on PS3 and X1, the biggest differences are noted above.

All the exclusives you mentioned could get decent ports on 7th gen consoles. BF4 is proof of that, they just wouldn't look as polished.

i agree, the only difference i have seen is textures mostly BF4 on ps3 and ps4 dont look like whole different games ps4 is 1080 and has higher textures and stuff so yea its crisper but its still playable on the ps3.

This would be devastating to me if I played resolutions instead of video games.

As it stands, all this beta footage leaking today, even more universal praise being heaped upon the game, can't wait

If it doesnt matter, will you buy it for the Xbox 360?

You mean that version coming 2 weeks later with another developer making it that has been shown 0 times? No.

BF4 on PS4 is actually running at 900p because they wanted to achieve 60 fps.

Dead Rising 3 would probably be a struggle to bring to 7th gen hardware. Given that game uses the superior specs for an open world filled with zombies, not polished graphics.

ah i didnt mean to lump the 1080p in with bF4 but your right, i was trying to say the differnce is 1080 p on ps4 for some games, just didnt type it correclty.  commas would have helped some lol.

Guys, this still counts as a launch game. I wouldn't call it a hardware defining game. Although the fact that this is Source doesn't help it.

I'm a playstation fan BUT Xbox fans you got yourself a treat, that game looks really fun to play. Hopefully it lives up to you guys standards. Hopefully I can get enough money to buy an XboxOne before titanfall comes out.

They will. I was in the Alpha. The game is immense fun. Ignore what the mostly PS fans are saying about this game. Ppl will love it dont even worry about the downplay.
