with the next halo, titanfall, sunset overdrive, quantum break, and the next call of duty to hit in the holidays, I'd imagine around then. Or before if ms does a price cut at e3. Or earlier if titanfall has a drastic, drastic domino effect on x1 sales.

And Microsoft's exclusives aren't really that great.

That's purely subjective.  You can say the same thing about every other exclusive out there.  Some people will like an exclusive, some won't.  And for some people, we'll never know the truth with the console-war bias going around.

But could you make a game as great as Super Smash Bros. Brawl with only XBOX exclusive characters? I don't think so.

How on earth is that relevant to our discussion?

That just means that nintendo has more characters that are geared more towards a game like ssb.

Lol, even Solid Snake is in Brawl.

It means Microsoft doesn't have a lot of good exclusive characters to fill a decent fighting game with.

With the next Zelda, Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart and the next call of duty to hit in the holidays, I'd imagine Wii U stays second. Especially if Ninty does a pricecut at E3. Or earlier if Donkey Kong tropical freeze has a drastic, domino effect on Wii U sales.

See? I can basically say the same.

You may say that COD sells better on xbox family, but still Wii U will get it. that's what Treyarch is for :)

I'm just going by what the majority of people are saying about the x1 online.

Tons of people are waiting for halo, call of duty has more impact on the x1 than the wii-u (significantly more impact), and titanfall has been praised heavily by virutally all media outlets (as pretty much everyone who has played the beta- that's a perfect storm for a game to perform well and push hardware sales).  If the just-released mario on wii-u didn't have much impact on pushing wii u sales, what makes you think that donkey kong tf will?  Does donkey kong have a magically huge audience compared to mario's audience?  And judging from previous years, call of duy just has no weight with nintendo hardware- most people familiarize that brand with the xbox or ps.

In case you haven't noticed - my post was a pun of yours.

I know perfectly will that CoD on Wii U is not a best seller - still, it sells enough to make it profitable. Activision will publish the next one for sure. They did it twice already, despite the low sales.

Everybody said that Ryse is "oh-so-beautiful", pure system seller. Now it's below one million. Super Mario 3D World became a third best (I think) seller on Wii U in 2 months. It drove Wii U to respectable 300-400 during Holidays.

Donkey KOng sold big last time. Of course It won't sell 6 million again (haha, not enoguh consoles even), but again, my post WAS A PUN. but 2 -3 million lifetime is quite possible. That isn't bad, is it?
Aaaaand that Titanfall - which, mind you, relaeses on 360 an PC too. You expect huge sales from that? Overall - yes, but it's not exclusive to X1, this will have some impact but not much I'd say.

Now, Mario Kart 8 is a Wii U exclusive, 3rd best selling game EVER. and a fan favourite Smash bros (even non nitnendo people like it!). I have a friend who plays CoD, Gta and fifa only. He said he's gonna buy Wii U just for this game, same as he did with Wii - bought it only for Smash Brawl.

I think that's quite telling.

Despite whatever you choose to fire back at me with,  I will still stand by my original comments.  The upcoming games for the x1 have the potential to push x1 hardware more than the wii-u games can for the wii-u hardware.

Quantum break seems like the only "fresh" thing there. Hardcore fans of shooters might be happy, but I'd see them flocking to ps4 after all that 1080>720 stuff (Still I can't imagine why that'd be THAT important).
My view is that due to soon-to-come PS4 dominance Wii U and X1 need something unique, "fresh". Not much of it in X1 lineup, but time will tell.

I feel like it'll pass it in the middle of this year maybe around August.

Some time after the Ps4 lol

This will be by far Wii U's best year, so while it might be tough this year, in the long run the One will absolutely crush the Wii U.

I think the ps4 will outsell the wiiu by the end of march at the latest, and the xbox one will be around november.

You may well be right about the PS4, but with MK releasing in May, some of these other annoucned titles like Yoshi, Bayonetta and possibly X releasing in the summer, Smash Bros. likely in Sep/Oct., and the still existent possibility of Zelda U by perhaps Dec., I very very seriously doubt Xbone will pass Wii U in 2014 at all.

"This will be by far Wii U's best year, so while it might be tough this year, in the long run the One will absolutely crush the Wii U."

We have no way of knowing whether or not this will be Wii U's best year. Zelda may well not release until 2015, and Nintendo certainly has other big projects in the works that we don't even know about coming down the line for 2015, 2016, etc. I agree with your sentiment that it'll be tough for the Xbone to surpass Wii U this year, all things considered. But I have to strongly disagree with the notion that it will "absolutley crush Wii U" in the long run. I don't think that'll hold true at all. I think PS4 may (or may not) have this generation, but I think the fight for second place, at least, will be a heated and prolonged one. Nintendo isn't about to just lay down and give up, and they're not going to release another new home console anytime before late 2016, more likely 2017 in fact.

I would say that with the possiblity of a new Metroid Prime from Retro, plus whatever other IP they're likely/hopefully working on, with the near certainty that there will be a Wii U Animal Crossing, and the hope that it will be more in-depth and perhaps more MMO-like. With Zelda U almost guaranteed to be epic, regardless of what they do with it, the very real possibilitry of another, different 3D Mario in the system's future, as well as the possibility of anything from Star Fox, to F-Zero, to Kid Icarus, to Wave Race, some Excite racer, Punch Out, Kirby, sports titles, Paper Mario, etc. etc .etc., Nintendo has plenty of ammo it can unleash in the next 2-3 years. Not to mention the fact that it makes logical business sense that they will very likely secure some more "third party" system exclusives, and forge more partnerships for projects like SMT x FE, Hyrule Warriors, the exclusive Sonic games, etc.

Point being, I wouldn't consider anything guaranteed yet, and taking Xbox One's struggles outside of the US (especially in Japan) into account, I wouldn't consider them a sure bet at all. Point being, Nintendo, as of right now, still has a very real chance in this current generation. Perhaps not the "win" it, but to come in second, and to still perform better than the GC or N64? Sure.

I really think it will, when the casual market find out about how cool xbox fitness is on kinect 2.0, the console will get a lot of casual love (weird phrasing...).
It will not outsell the PS4 though.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I disagree, the only game on there that will have that much appeal at this point will be smash bros and the POSSIBILITY of zelda. Which I've heard absolutely nothing about, so I doubt it's coming out this year. New games up sales for maybe a week or two usually. I don't see the other games uping sales that much, especially bayonetta.

The day after black friday of 2014. The wiiu is essentially dead in america, and the last thing any video game manufacturer wants to be touting is "but we sell great in japan". Expect the xbone to take control of NA from the ps4 around that same time.
