iphone is losing marketshare by the day.
I dont think iphone ever needed that much advertising to begin with, word of mouth was all it needed.
guess what commercials I almost never see. samsung galaxy ads.

I see plenty of Samsung ads. 

But I kinda see what your saying. I see way a lot of X1 ads and never see any PS4 ads.

nope, don't agree.

it may apply in some cases but not others.  

it should be pretty obvious which examples fit into which category.

Yup. Samsung's Galaxy and Apple's iPhone sure don't advertise a lot.

Yeah they've really been pushing Ryse and Forza lately. The only playstation ads I've seen that I can remember in the past few months have been PS3 advertising for Batman and I think COD, but both ads have been for PS3. 
I also see loads of Ipad ads and iphone 5C ads. And both of those products have seen lower sales. And the most advertised product on TV this month has been the surface tablet. So many ads for it and Windows 8 products.
