Read your spoilers and don't see why that doesn't make sense.

Once you figure out that Ringabel is actually Dark Knight Din (I mean, it's pretty obvious once you read the entries in D's Journal). Since it describes all the events the party takes before they actually take it then you could only have two options:

- Time Travelling
- Parallel Dimensions

Since Time Travelling has been done to exhaustion, i'm glad they took the parallel dimensions route.

It's not about making sense (although there are some unanswered questions), it's about having to replay the same old stuff time and time again. The game continues, but it's basically Monster Hunter style. It's like the developers said: "Oh, there's basically no real content left, but let's pad it out."

Components are used by a job that can combine items to create new stuff.

Ah I understand now. It's like FFV's second world but without any differences at all. Oh well, I'll see it when I get there, still working my way surviving on Chapter 3.

That job's probably the Salve-Maker then. Already have Pirate and Performer, need to get it next (Pirate battle was too damn tough on Hard).

Hard difficulty starts changing things up a lot on chapter 3. Bosses start having double HP and stats and some boss fights see an increment on enemies. Had to fight 3 Automatons with 13500 HP each on the Graap Keep, while the Normal difficulty fight is only 2 Automatons with 10000 HP each. Pirate Boss had 60350 HP on Hard while on Normal has only 30000 HP.

Torn-City - MMO text based RPG, join me! :)

I will add everyone (that I didn't already) on this weekend.

Dear goddess the asterik bosses are a pain on Chapter 3. 80K HP for both Swordmaster and Ninja. Performer class is the bossest of all boss classes in the game. My lvl 12 White Mage + lvl 10 Performer Agnes just owns things.

Also, Valkyrie and Sword Fencer = Mob cleansing at it's finest.

I'm buying the game today so i'm tagging this thread for info. I played the demo for a while and found it to be really fun.

I'm going get that digital Europe deal to get 3D land for free. So it's two 3DS games for me this day :).

Are the game enemies programmed to go all ape-shit berserk over Tiz? Because it's insane how much they all target him.

Even when I have a Valkyrie and a Black Mage sweeping through mobs with Firaga and Crescent Moon and Tiz is only Defaulting, 90% of the times enemies target his soft weak ass, even though B.Mage and W.Mage are softer than him and no one has any aggro modifier.

It's really irksome.

Edit - Guardian Boss in chapter 4 has 125K HP on Hard. I'm reading that he has only 60K on Normal. I am cry D:

Edit 2 - Scratch that, bastard went down quite easily. It seems Valkyrie with Multitask and buffed to the extreme (150% on everything) and Thundaga Sword Magic goes through his mechanical behind like a hot knife through butter. Was doing 6000 damage per hit, sometimes got 3 multitasks in a row.

Maybe this is a game where the character in the first slot draws the most attacks, since there are no rows. Although I have to say that I didn't really notice it. Additionally, the game encourages you to put someone other than Tiz into the first slot and never mentions anything about the first slot drawing more attacks, so I would say you just have bad luck.

Have you tried a pirate yet? They really suck. Time mages are horrible too.

Victor's class has an interesting skill: Absorb elemental damage for four turns, single target. You can basically go all out brave with it for your entire party and repeat the process four turns later. If the boss regularly casts multitarget spells, you don't need to heal at all.

Gonna fight Victor and Victoria now, can't wait to unlock both their classes, since I believe they'll synergize well with maxed/almost maxed B.Mage/W.Mage, though the sheer amount of HP they both have is ridiculous, if the first, non-winnable fight is any indication.

I only used Pirate to unlock the P.Atk 20% bonus, the class in itself has nothing that's remotely usable, is slow as hell and frail too (only went to lvl.9 though, might have some good skills later). My Thief Tiz, with Precision and P.Atk 20% deals almost 3K per 13 hits attack with Killer Bow. I actually like the Time Mages skills, not the class per see (plus the design is horrible). Veilga is amazing if you use two Ninjas in a party, especially if you have Kunai as one of the subweapons. Transcience activates like crazy.

As for Tiz, I have him on my second slot, Agnes on first (I figured that since she's the main character of the story, I'd have her as my front). Still, I think it was because the Hunter class might have an higher base aggro than other classes, since Thief Tiz is hardly targetted now. Still, it was annoying because Tiz is almost one level lower than the rest of the party, due to constant wipeouts.

Edit - Dear goddess I was wrong, so wrong. Victoria has 94800 HP and Victor has 108000 HP.....I don't think S-E  wanted us to finish Hard difficulty

Right, pirate sucks as a main class and has hardly any support skills to boot. Also right, time mage can work as a subclass or for support skills, but as main they are pretty awful.

Qada's job is pretty awesome for healing of HP and MP, doubling the effect of everything. Is also versed with daggers, so usable as a main class. Swordmaster relies too much on anticipating what the enemy will do, so it's one of the worst jobs. Summoner is plain horrible while Ranger is useful for its good base damage and the low cost slayer skills that increase the damage output.

Been switching Ringabel between B.Mage and Salve-Maker for menu healing, haven't tried using that class on battles other than levelling up the class to lvl. 9. It is pretty good for healing purposes, but since compounds are a bit on the expensive side, I stay clear of it for any other purpose.

Ranger is pretty useful and it's Multishot is amazing for single bosses, though with a high enough Hit Count, it gets outclassed by regular attacks + Precision support ability.
