I dont care for the reviews. 

Its nice to see a combat game without the crappy filler platform stuff or easy arse puzzles tat just annoy the hell out of me. They arent needed. I hated the easy platform filler bits in Uncharted. Man that wasnt even exploration.  Just filler BS. Samee with games like GOW or Ninja Gaiden. Platform bits that are easier than completeing Final Fantasy 13. 

Nice to see the reason Im buying the game ( combat ) is deep and rewarding if I want to master it. 

Im in.  Bring it on.

I'm worried about the difficulty too, it looks gorgeous but the gameplay gives me the impression that no effort is needed to play the game. We've already seen "normal" so "easy" so let's forget about easy, I just hope the higher difficulties will offer a real challenge.

Hey Tought Id derail the thread first. May as well join em if we cant defeat them. VGC is like neogaf 2 now.  Seen that said on alot of sites at the moment.

Agree with OP. Platforming in action games has only been acceptable twice last then. The first POP and Ninja Gaiden on xbox. Since then, they have seemed rather unnecessary and by far the low points of the game. Tomb Raider turned this around and developed genuinely engaging (even if easy) platforming.

Ryse seems to focus solely on the combat and it looks glorious.
