Second the red line of death

Now this, Sony.....Microsoft, get this fix before release, we would like another RRoD 2005 issue again.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

X1 must be a real threat to some people judging by the responses of some people and their sigs.
I don't understand why some people are so worried about a console they will never own unless they feel threatened by it.
Looking at rumors online it looks like PS4 has heat issues and will break down. Do you take those rumors as 100% true like you do any negative X1 rumor?

I wont be getting an X1 but it also doesn't bother me that it may have issues. Its not going to impact me one way or another and I am sure MS will have a fix for it. Its not like the OS is always going to be the way it ships. Even Wii U had a day 1 update.
Things like this are why I think MS will pull ahead of Sony this upcoming generation. IMO it just doesn't look like they have a whole lot of positive things to brag about PS4 and need to focus on trashing Wii U and X1. When the most loyal cant find a positive you know you got issues.

Considering your post history and how you worry of the PS4, can you really stand behind the first paragraph of your post?

I would put a facepalm picture but apparently that's against the rules (Even though I didn't get a warning or anything so I'm not sure if people were telling me the truth about that).

That's not a bug actually. If the PS4 gets too hot, it auto shuts down to protect itself from damage. The red light comes on to show the user.

Give it time to cool down, or in this case give it some ventilation and remove it from the plastic box, and everything goes back to normal.

There is a lot of noise on forums etc right now… and some will be true and some will be false, thats just how it is. Do i think MS are struggling…yep, but do i think we need this constant "daily news".. no. At the end of the day, people will buy either console, and just like RROD or SonyNetwork Hack or anything else, we all live by our choices and it will be upto the console manufacturers to make the least mistakes.

Let's start with some basic stuff. Games/OS crashing before being released… This is strangely enough perfectly ok… it's not brilliant but when you are working to tight deadlines then yes it can certainly happen, and when you are making demos for people of incomplete games you are certainly hoping no issues arise. But you are normally doing this before the actual features of the game are complete, so there is no way you can reduce or prevent these issues easily. These major issues get solved later on in the development.

Day 1 patches are a must for either console. Writing OS/UI frontend systems to support a console must be extremely difficult, and of course there will be issues to resolve and features to fix/improve. I would say MS certainly have a little more hassle because they had to rip out the DRM stuff… but it's not a total uphill battle because they are just reverting to 360 methods of it working - so the unknowns are known :)

What I am seeing is fool journalists on the internet creating trouble with little hints and "I Cant say something, but something is happening" - fuelling the flames to get more hits/followers etc. Some of them are a bit of a joke to be honest and calling them journalist seems a bad thing to do considering they are no where near journalistic material.

Do i think MS are having problems with getting their games finished, yes. Do I think 3rd parties are having problems getting their games ready on 6 different platforms, yes. But *Ultimately* what's the point of random speculation when we can just see the results in a few weeks time. All these people just looking for hits.

Well it's fine to put the facepalm picture, as long as it's light hearted and nice. If you use it in consale warz like in this case, that's a no go.

LOL thats funny coming from you. Care to post some examples of me trashing the PS4? I'll wait kid. Its going to take a while to find something that isnt there.

Recignozing Sony has made mistakes is not hating on the PS4

Part of the daily laughter around here. Let's take a picture and just guess what is going on and then recommend that the launch get delayed???

It is near the end of the end....

In all honesty, I fully expect both consoles to have tons of problems at launch. It would surprise me if they didn't.

The funny part is that a LOT of people are going to be outraged and angry, as if they never considered the possibility that brand new launch consoles might have issues.

They're gonna be like:

From <3<3<3 to  (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ within hours.

And then they're gonna come on the forums and be like:

Already posted.

Locking.
