It should unquestionably be whatever the heck EAD Tokyo wants to make.

Love your ideas Zack. You obviously put a lot of thought into this.

Part of me feels like KingdomHeartsFan -- I want Nintendo to give me something I didn't know I wanted.

The other part of me wants something like Banjo-Tooie, i.e., a platform action-adventure hybrid with an interconnected world. No jumping through paintings or traveling through warp pipes to independent levels. I want a single overworld -- maybe Dinosaur Land? -- with levels that are physically connected.

maybe something around 64 or sunshine(i didn't play either one of them)
as for the length of the game here's a bit of math:
there is one stamp in each level and between 86-100 stamps according to counting (didn't bother to do it myself) so 86-100 levels each level is about 300 seconds so 25800 seconds to 30000 seconds dividing by 3600 to get the number of hours the results are 7.166 to 8.333 hours of gameplay excluding the commander toad and the enemy levels and assuming you never lose any lives so it should last you 10-15 hours depending on how well you play and whether you want to complete the game or not

bet with ash3336 he wins if Super Mario 3D World sells less than Mario Sunshine during the first three years, I win if 3D World outsells Sunshine's first 3 years. Loser get sig controlled for 3 months (punishment might change)

Do you doubt the WiiU? Do you believe that it won't match the GC?

Then come and accept this bet

I want a game reminiscent of Mario 64/Sunshine, but instead of paintins to jump into to enter levels, I just want a huge mushroom kingdom to roam. Imagine open world mario platforming. Run over to peaches castle, platform to the top, get a star, leap off and back into a huge world.

After the linearity of 3D land and 3D World, I'm ready for the polar opposite.

Mario Dimensions - Will open up ridiculous amount of gameplay opportunity as each dimensions will be different. 2D mario, Galaxy, Sunshine, and crazy new game play ways nintendo will thinks of.

That is a really cool idea. I had been thinking of something where Mario turns into a 2D version of himself when he enters a warp pipe, a la Epic Mickey, but your idea is even better.

It could be like that game Evoland, where the mechanics and visuals change as the game progresses. It would be a complex, massive, hugely ambitious project, but if anyone can do it, it's Nintendo EAD.
