The Wii U is going to surpass the Xbox 360 in japan! An achievment is an achievment no matter how small xD

NICE! Can't wait to see how the 3DS fairs in the fourth quarter. Bound to be a big YoY increase after the lackluster 3DS performance last year.

Incredibly thread. It's interesting the the PS3 has managed to stay flat due to GTA V.

I can't wait for the Q4 analysis since it will contain the X1 and PS4 as well.

LOL, yea, I found that funny too. Despite poor sales, it's much better off then MS in Japan.

3DS should catch up rather quickly, it's 635,000 units behind WW and the week ending October 12th, 2013 that gap reduces to 440,000 units. Pokemon, Monster Hunter, and the 2DS should keep 3DS sales up for the big 4th quarter.

The questions is will 3DS be up YoY in all territories? It's already up YoY in Japan, and gained 100k just because of Pokemon, but in Europe/USA that boost was only 22k or so. It's probably because Pokemon Black/White 2 also boosted sales for 3DS at the same time last year, but still. 3DS might not be up YoY for USA and EU.

I think it will be up YoY in USA at least, that 2DS should sell like mad during Black Friday.

Very well done! Only thing I noticed is I think your numbers for the PS are off by a couple million.

I think VGC's numbers are the ones which are off. Sony only ever confirmed 102.49 million units shipped, it's the number on Sony's website (somewhere), and the number on Wikipedia. VGC also had this number for years, then 1 update later and the number changed randomly.

Oh okay. I thought you were taking all of the numbers from VGC.

I am, every number except this fairly obvious error.

I used to make my own PS2 numbers when VGC stopped tracking PS2 too, but now that VGC has updated PS2 and the system is discontinued, I don't have to.
