nothing wrong with them IMHO comparing them to Sony is not right becasue Sony is the EXCEPTION not the rule. I dont recall any console maker that support there systems like Sony does. Whether that is right or wrong is subjective

Providing that your excluding their protable market that is. :P

yeah they totally abandoned the PSP, its been a whole 2 days since i last preordered a PSP game, They outright killed it off and nobody ever releases games on it anymore........

You were awake for E3 and TGS, right?

what you do is irrelevant. If you actually looked at the Japan seller list right on the front page. one click away you'll see quite a few PSP games up there some released as recently as three weeks ago

You do realize that the 360 launched a year before the PS3. Also this gen lasted far too long anyway and most people are ready to move on to the next generation. Plus the 360 isn't being totally abandoned its still getting Fable Anniversary Edition next spring and it will still get tons of 3rd party games and plenty of more X-Box live arcade games. If anybody abandoned ship far too early this generation it was Nintendo with the Wii. Which pretty much was totally dead even before the Wii U came out when it comes to new games.

Sony may be the exception but that doesn't mean that the others who have bought their consoles later in the life will not give them a bad after taste like the wii did.

What are you talking about the DS was pretty much dead as soon as the 3DS came out when it comes to new games and the GBA was pretty much dead once the DS came out.  And the only reason the PSP still got decent support after the Vita was launched is because noboby was buying the Vita and the PSP is still selling good.

I was talking about first party efforts here. :P

They just aren't very consumer friendly like Sony and Nintendo. I've always disliked Microsoft's approach to the consumer.

I thing you are joking Nintendo is as quick to abandon their previous consoles as MS as a matter of fact the Wii was abandoned a lot quicker then the 360 will be and so where most of their handhelds.

The DS didn't have any new first party games once the 3DS came out and neither did the GBA once the DS came out.  And lets not even talk about the Wii that was abandoned before the Wii U even hit the market.  The 360 still will be supported long after the X1 hits the market.

Besides the NES what other Nintendo system got supported for a solid 8 years like the 360 you are delusional if you think Nintendo is much better then MS when it comes to being consumer friendly.  And the NES only got a solid 8 years of support in Japan because it launched there in 1983 already anywhere else in the world it only had solid support for about 6 years.

Delusional company throwing money away with their terrible and amateur new commercials and advertising techniques..especially the paid shills that sit on NeoGAF and 4chan's /v/ board to bring Microsoft's credibility up..but it's not working.

They can use their Billions for commercials and R&D..they're throwing money away. It's not hurting them either.
They used to be successful.

They're using "SUCCESS" money for FAILURE products.

Windows 8 is terrible.
Nokia phones are terrible. Especially the Lumias. Overpowered camera? It's a gimmick phone.
Xbox One will sell because of the Xbox Name...but it'll become Microsoft's last big product.

Did I mention that Windows 8 is a flop?
Especially the commercials.

Windows 7 is a good OS...but everyone will eventually switch to Ubuntu or Chrome OS by 2020.

Microsoft will become even more irrelevant..just like they already are.
No, they won't go out of business...they're too rich.
Money and Power...that's all they are.

So how do you think did they get the money? Right, they have extremely popular products.
So how do they increase their profit and revenue almost every year for the past 30 years? Right, because they have a steady flow of new and profitable products / technologies.
So how did they hire additional 50,000 employees over the last decade? Right, because they keep investing and building.

Your post is basically crying that you have no idea about business, but dislike MS.

And lol @ Ubuntu and Chromebooks. I have been hearing this since 1998.
Netbooks will kill Windows! Smartphones will kill Windows! Ubuntu will kill Windows! Tablets will kill Windows!
Fast forward to 2013:

"In its first week of monitoring worldwide usage of Google's Chrome OS, NetMarketShare reported that the percentage of web traffic from Chromebooks was roughly 2/100 of 1 percent, a figure too small to earn a place on its reports."

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

as some said the 360 is already on it's 8th year and it's time to move on. wii came out 1 year after and Nintendo is going to stop producing them so why isn't the tread about that instead? Apple stopped supporting iPad 1 when the iPad 3 came out 2 years later. Most of the Android phone manufacturers also stop supporting their old phones so they can sell new ones. Why is this even an issue? Most gamers will more than likely move on to newer systems and the ones and your old 360/ps3 will still work and there will be plenty of 3rd party games coming out for them still.
