no. fact :P

please name the good Vita games that aren't ports :P

Gravity Rush

LittleBigPlanet Vita (no port of LBP1 or LBP2, complete new set o f levels, improved gameplay, much improved editor)

Uncharted: Golden Abyss (no port of the other Uncharted games, complete new story and levels)

WipeOut 2048

Killzone: Mercenary

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

Lumines: Elctronic Symphony

Soul Sacrifice

Mutant Blob Attacks

And I couldn't care less if Persona 4 Golden, Guacamelee!, Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends, Dragon's Crown, MGS2, MGS3, Sly 4, Disgaea 3, Limbo, Spelunky, Hotline Miami, Sine Mora, Sound Shapes, Oddworld: Strangers's Wrath, NfS: Most Wanted, The Pinball Arcade, Stealth Inc. and so on are ports or not... if you want to play these games unbound to a TV set, the Vita version is the best way to go.

Obviously some are still in denial and have to badmouth 3DS. Sorry guys, Sony focus now lies on indy games, not even original ones, no, ports of old indie games. Killzone was announced when PSV was announced as as "next gen portable"/NGP therefore before PSVs even launched and Tearaway last year at GC and another Monster Hunter clone called Freedom War, since then they changed focus to cheap indy ports, due to lack of further interest on Sonys part.

Obviously this old indy games ports for PSV are exactly what those fans had wished for especially the ones who complained about lack of processing power for 3DS and the "dat oled" crowd. Just give me a break, have a lot of fun with these ports.

No need to, Metacritic did it for you.

And considering what the topic of the thread is, you're not supposed to.

Hey, you asked for a list, we delivered.

"please name the good Vita games that aren't ports"

I´m not having this debate again but: Metacritic favours the Vita, if you just go by the list, the 2 year old port of Limbo is better/ counts more than Luigi´s Mansion 2...the same WILL happen with FEZ, Minecraft and " acclaimed old indie port No. 20"

...which, let´s be honest, is rather unfair

This has nothing to do about denial, or badmouthing 3DS. The only people that are badmouthing anything in this thread are die hard Nintendo fans, that don't own, and don't care about Vita... but for some reason they have to point out in every Vita thread how bad actually Vita is compared to 3DS...  But of course from their perspective, because people that actually bought Vita, love the system, love the games on it and are actually happy with it. And SONY is happy with them because they put their money where their mouth is!

Ports of old indie games? I actually play a lot of indie games, always have and probably always will. Because in this washed out industry, they at least try to bring something new. I personaly don't care about Minecraft, but 33 million people that bought Minecraft obviously don't agree with me. And games like LIMBO, Machinarium, Fez, Terraria... are critically acclaimed titles. Amazing games I would dare to say. So why is it a bad thing, bringing those games to even wider audiences?

If 3DS would get those games instead of PSV, Nintendo fans would be first to gloat how much more amazing 3DS has become...

It's also great that 3DS is such an amazing platform of original software... Lets see... 3D Mario *check*, 2D Mario *check*, Animal Crossing *check*, Donkey Kong port *check*, MH 3 port *check* MH 4 port *check*, Zelda port *check*...

Play games that you enjoy, on system that you want to support. But if you don't like something, doesn't mean that EVERYBODY else is in the same boat with you.

It sucks that the Vita isn't doing too well. It's an amazing piece of hardware and has some pretty great games on it. I'm also loving all the cross-buy and cross-play functionality it's been getting.

I'm hoping that Nintendo will offer ability to play VC games on 3DS and Wii U considering Sony has the cross buy feature. I refuse to pay twice for a VC game to play on hand held and home console.

I was just saying I can see the entire 3DS line-up on Metacritic if I need to, nothing about comparing the two consoles (although it's quite funny when you do ). In other words, MohammadBadir doesn't need to reel off every single exclusive on the 3DS, whether they're any good or not, as an excuse to attack the Vita yet again.

I agree though, despite Metacritic favouring the Vita in every single timeframe when it comes to games rated 75+, multiplatform games have less worth than exclusives.
