I'm planning on buying this bundle even though I don't currently have a Windows machine that can run these games.

Some advice please: This will be my first Humble Bundle, and my first purchase on Origin. Is it best to redeem my codes immediately after purchase, or is it safe to wait until I'll actually be able to play the games?

I have no plan currently to buy a computer that could run these games, so they could easily be sitting in my account unplayed a year from now (or maybe even longer).

My codes from the first humble bundle are still there (2.5 years ago) so they are safe to store as long as you like.

Former something....

That is PR 101.

Too little, too late, if you ask me.

i got the codes, how do you redeem the games?

No clue for Origin but for Steam

1: On Steam Browser go to the small Games tab on the top

2: Click Activate Product on Steam

3: go through all the BS and input code into the open part and thats it.

I personally cannot understand the major business ethics of EA but they're holding some of my favorite companies hostage (Bioware, Dice and Visceral). I like this because its a charity and secondly because its giving us a lot. These are games EA has definitely already profited off of and can afford to give away anyway.

I just got Battlefield, Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Crysis 2, Dead Space 3 for much less than I could've paid on consoles, even at Gamestop. These are definitely around $200 worth of games.

My laptop is definitely far stronger than any of my current gen consoles.

I agree.  I have been on an EA boycott for awhile now, but this was too good of a deal

This is the same way I feel about MS and outside of gaming industry Sony to a lesser extent. If they keep putting out the games I cannot deny them. I love my Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Halo, Battlefield and Sony exclusives.

Thanks. I realize now it was probably kind of a dumb question. Once I made my purchase and saw what was going on, I went ahead and redeemed my codes and registered the games in both my Steam and Origin libraries.
