Forums - Gaming Discussion - Is the XBox 360 worth 99 Euro just for the exclusives ?

I also consicered buying this 99€ xbox, because i fell in love with State of Decay while whatching let's plays... but all in all there is not much other stuff i'd like to have on the xbox (i was looking at exclusives at amazon) - maybe there are some XBL games i forgot about...
but i told myself... those shitloads of unplayed games on my ps3... the fact that state of decay could come out for PC... nah... don't buy another electronic device you'd just play for two or three games (like i did for 3DS and the WII).

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

It is a pity that you will miss some wonderful exclusive games. Well, it is your choice...

I would consider purchasing it, especially since there is some kind of offer going on for 2 free games every month up until the release of One. But the harddrive is a big problem in that regard.

Think probably better off waiting since 4GB is really not that great.

Wait is it a new model or are they just getting rid of the old stock before the new rework hits the shelves?

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

buy a vita-no need to support a dying system.

on the other hand, 99 for 360 is a really good deal.

Doesn't the 360 out sell the Vita every week despite its dying status, just food for thought.

of course it does

360 outsells vita and wii u combined but that does not change the fact of agony. If you buy a system you may want have one with some future and not one with almost 0 exclusives coming.

Remember how fast MS dropped the xbox real 1?-they really cared about gamers;did they?Just food for thought.

If you buy a console right now you are surely interessted in using it the next 3-5 years.Off course you can buy a psp or a wii instead of ps vita and wii u because they sell more hardware but there is no future for those old agony systems.

Worth getting the hdd, as if you like games you'll take one look at xbla and that 4g will vanish.

So many ps2-users went with the wrong decision. Many, many units were sold when it was at 99 euros and by that time there were no big releases for this system, leave aside annual EA-sports-titles.

Also MS already said they will support the 360 further which is obvious given the still good sales and user-base.

The point the OP was asking is for existing exclusives and not future exclusives, there is a huge back catalogue of great games to play, you seem to have not grasped the question the OP asked.  I'd say at the present time the 360 looks a lot better promise for future titles than the Vita which is on life support and getting destroyed by the 3DS.

If you've never played a 360 then yes of course its worth playing at $99. Just be ready to pay for Xbox Live to sustain that $99 because its subsidized like a cellphone.

What? I think you misunderstood this...

Get a vita :) just for the psp games alone
