We all know those two have some back room sort of deal going. Timmy doesn't exactly care enough about PC to state that we've got no worries and that we'll be fine. It's better for him to push the new partner-like narrative, that PS5 is where it's at (remember when he claimed consoles were, when he ditched PC eons ago?, and how consoles were doing everything instead of PC), that it's PS5 that's going to push PC, not the fact that Nvidia/AMD were already working on this tech and general advancements beforehand. But knowing timmy's lil noggin, he likes to think one thing leads to another, even if indirectly, like his lil "multi-store world" theory, as if he somehow invented such a world, when it was in fact well and truly established before he came along, and that it's still chugging along.
I wouldn't take anything he says as gospel though. Well aware of his history and what he's got under his belt, but he's also full of shit and bad at PR.
But boy do I just yearn for the day when this industry manages to shake off this weird self imposed rule, where all the devs, all the pubs can't somehow just flat out admit "yeah, PC's are gonna be fine, they'll trump things as they usually do" (because you and I know this, they even do, but they won't pipe up about it due to fear of not getting work with the big 3, and that mentality needs to be killed asap).
off topic: I did notice recently that the Tony Hawk game trailers for PS4/X1 have had the "captured on PC" removed from their respective trailers. Are we really going back to early gen crap again (which to me feels like warring, because they didn't have this issue during the middle of this gen, just at the end/start they seem to repeat omittance of leaving "captured on PC" from trailers).
Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see
