Excellent naznatips, let's not forget about time zone. Actually, we should start to sort time zones because it could take some time. Mine is -6 GMT, equivalent to US Central Time.

Also, amazing video vagabond, the game plays amazingly and looks stunning as a plus. Can you start as Zero Suit Samus? If so, she is sooo gonna be my starter.

Mario Kart gets more party-like with each new game...doesn't mean the hardcore can't make something of it.

From what I see every day, I like. I like the crazy stages, the Subspace mode, additional items, whatever. If it's the Final Smashes that are just too much for some people, you can turn those off...you can do whatever you want in this game.

I simply fail to see how this game can fail...simply by the sheer amount of customization available.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

 You can start as ZSS.  Its different than just selecting Samus and clicking her picture though (Like Zelda and Pokemon Trainer).  You need to hit the L or R button to start as ZSS.

EDIT: Maybe its Y.  I dont know.

Yeah Zero Suit is holding Y I believe when you press start and keep holding it till game starts, it's in the IGN podcast.

And I don't see why it's getting negative reviews on GameFAQs, but I have seen the threads there and I'm not going back for a while cause so many people are hooked on the whole "clones" thing and are so angry, so of course the reviews on the site are most likely going to reflect the people on the site IE the threads.

I've actually heard there's a lot of balance in this game more like the original, which anything cheap can be turned off, IE Smash ball, hammer, bat, etc. so anyone saying it's stayed the same just expanded and if anyone is saying different they're crazy, you're getting an expanded version of the past 2 with online play, anyway it's awesome and everything I personally wanted.

Gamefaqs always has weird threads people there have nothing to talk about >.

Hey does anybody know if SSBB will have player stats? It only hit me now that I haven't seen match and player stats yet. I would really miss it if they left the stats out.

SPOILER ALERT:

video of all the final smashes

i was disappointed with CF's; i'd be happy with an epic falcon punch instead

Gamefaqs is full of fanboys who review games for other systems and Melee tourney gamers who are still being whiney bitches about the removal of their game engine exploits. None of its reviews are worth reading. After hearing IGN's podcast I've lost all hope in there being a such thing as a good review source anywhere. I've decided reviews aren't worth anything, even in the content, because IGN just proved that you don't have to know shit about a game to review it our bash it. Thanks IGN in destroying my faith in gaming media forever.

@Joeron

You mean like match records and such? They said they omitted those on purpose to keep people from focusing on it, as they want people to have fun with each other instead of competing for glory on a ranking list.

 Yeah I was kind of mad at that, but it may also be that A Matt wasn't there to balance everything out like he usually does, Bozon is very critical of games and even if he's bashing it he really does love it, the other guys are stupid and not even reviewers so don't worry about them, if you look up the antcipated games of 2008 they all have Smash as their title, and they love it they were just getting a few nags out there, or non reviewers just being like the rest of the complainers out there.
