This Halo series is probably going to be part of MS's exclusive TV content for the Xbox One. Which in turn will probably be "free" to watch for XBL Gold members.

I think M$ will bleed their fans with the series.

If it funds the huge budget of the Halo series. Then im all for it.

@CGI i really like the look of the new XBOX ONE , the controller loosing the battery pack was a good thing, that has been or was one of the complaints my sister has had about the xbox360 controller. this one looks to be better for extended game play. im interested in trying out the new controller.

Exclusive? You mean console exclusive? Yes. Part of the PS3's appeal was BluRay. An advantage has been leveled here today. Though, we all knew it was coming!!

Pretty sure Microsoft makes more money from the Android devices that Sony sells. A lot more... Especially considering not ONE Xbox has beensold yet. Moving on...

A good presentation overall. No Kinect jumping around, no real long awkward pauses and they not only showed the console, they showed what it's OS is capable of and it's comparable specs to the PS4. For me and the general media sites I've gone too, (excluding sites such as PS4isTeHgreatness.com ) has been favourable and they also have the reasoning to see that MS is saving the games, or the majority for E3 to go head to head with Sony. Why would you pop so many games and surprises too early and have nothing or little for E3? The inclusion of CoD bought in a media-shit storm. This is everywhere. It feels, (correct me if I'm wrong... Nicely!) that it's been picked up a lot more than the PS4 reveal/announcement. Xbox ONE is also a great name. At first, not going to lie, I didn't like it at all. I slept on it for a few hours and it's actually great. It shows the direction Microsoft is taking. The PS4 isn't it's only true competitor. This thing, wants to dominate your lounge room/bedroom/dorm, whatever and replace everything.

CoD exclusive content going into the next gen, knowing how big it is now is, well.... Big. It will come across, like Destiny on PS4, that to truly get the full next generation, 60fps, (they made sure to mention that!) full HD experience, get the Xbox ONE. They also did something unexpected. FIFA exclusive content. I couldn't believe it. They're acknowledging Sony's strong presence in Europe, only minutes after the Xbox ONE is shown and seem to be taking action. This thing could very well again lock down the U.K. Speaking of "locking down"; MS again made this thing look to be very strong in the U.S. It may very well lock that down too, possibly harder than the 360 has before it. I still am very aware that the Wii is ahead there so don't bother replying to that, save it for another thread, please? Japan on the other hand seems all but abandoned. Nothing really there that I think the population of Japan will be interested in yet. Sure, there is still E3 but I could see MS cutting their losses and just leaving Japan to Nintendo and Sony. I hope they don't but you never know! Revealed or not, realistically, we still don't know too much about the Xbox ONE, it's games, Apps, or strategies going forward from here.

Forza looks great... We were all expecting PGR 5 and instead got this... Amazing. I played Forza Horizon recently and it excites me for what is to come with next generation hardware. I wonder how much of it, if any, was game engine footage. It looks pre-rendered but we again, still know little. Quantum Break was a little confusing and showed little gameplay. I was hoping for Alan Wake 2 or Alice Wake to be announced and it wasn't. I was disappointed without a doubt. I bought and loved, not only Alan Wake, but both DLC expansions that came with it, Part 1: The Signal and Part 2: The Writer. Microsoft/Remedy making a completely new IP on the other hand shows they're still listening to us which, well.... FINALLY!  CoD on the other hand showed a decent amount of in game footage and it looks gorgeous. A huge jump from the MW3 pics shown. Fluid dynamics, shaders, textures, lighting... You could go on and on.... The multi-player revamp is also impressive. Potentially a many things could happen, every game could be different. To think, this was the entree before E3... I don't personally like CoD, I haven't for a while but seeing this excited me a little. Still probably won't get the game, but exciting to see where we're headed none the less.

Now we come to it, Xbox ONE has no DRM, always online. Which is great, but it also does something to used games. It isn't all bad, you can still buy and sell used games as you were before but you'll have to fork out just a little more over to M$ if you want to buy a pre-owned game. This is not a deal breaker, nor should it be for to many people either. I'm not saying it's good, just don't blow it out of proportion. The brick and mortar shops more than likely will just drop the price of said used games making it fairer. You'd assume they'd have too, if you saw a pre-owned game on the shelf at $35-$45 then next to it, the retail copy at $60, factor in the "used game tax" which, let's face it, won't be any more than $1-10, you'll come out on top anyway. Remembering that it will be launch and even the pre-owned game disc will still be very new. I'm not trying to justify it, I don't like it, quote me on it. I'm just saying, remember all the outrage when DLC first hit? Now we all LOVE DLC!! Assuming it's not the "already shipped on the disc kind".... Anyway...

So yeah, that's all I gotta say for now I think... Sorry about the massive post and feel free to discuss anything with my little opinion piece here. Just try and quote me on the bit you want to talk about... Not the whole thing, please.

Exciting times ahead. All aboard, next stop is E3.

I loved the look of the Console and Controller.... How I didn't put that detail in is beyond me. I didn't think I was THAT tired!

Just watched the reveal, shows, panels etc, as well as read dozens of articles and hundreds of comments.

In short, I'm excited about Xbox One, PS4 and WiiU.
