ever rant about Lost Odyssey?

IMO, it's the best console JRPG released in the 7th generation. I liked it better then XenoBlade Chronicles, Valkyria Chronicles, and Tales of Vesperia. I think it has the deepest story out of the 3, it's tied for the longest at 60 hours (maybe a bi shorter then Xeno), really interesting backstory with dreams and immortality, and it's made by the creator of Final Fantasy.

2. Already the "because it's on 360" option is dominating, so I'll ask this. Why don't you guys consider buying a 360 Arcade to play Lost Odyssey and other JRPG exclusives on the 360 like Tales of Vesperia, Magna Carta 2, and Infinite Undiscovery? During Black Friday/Boxing Day in Canada and USA I commonly see Arcade 360's for $129.99 and Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia are $20/$30 games now respectively, plus all other JRPG exclusives are about $10.

P.S. Sorry about the type being "one" 360. I can't edit it because it will clear the poll. Shame that that's the response that's most common because I honestly do like it over all other console JRPG's this gen.

Most JRPG Fans probably haven't played. 'Cause, you know, it's on the 360. (Not known for it's JRPG's or fans of JRPG's.)

I would rant about it but I never finished the game. In fact its just sitting there in my collection. I keep telling myself I'll finish it but for some reason I don't. I hope to do so either this spring or summer break.

i have a 360 just never got around to it

couldnt beat those fuckers at the beginning of disc 4 game has been collecting dust ever since..also i hated those dream things

It's the reason why I bought a 360. It was my favorite JRPG this gen until Ni No Kuni released.

I totally understand your choice. I appreciate a good, complex story as much as the next person.

However, I still prefer Xenoblade mainly for gameplay reasons. I've never played a JRPG with more rewarding exploration (which suggests to me that there has never been one), and I can easily see evolution of the genre in many gameplay areas, especially the combat and questing. The presentation occasionally sometimes leaves something to be desired, but hey, considering that the game was probably made with a much smaller budget than Lost Odyssey, it's altogether very impressive.

Well, I wouldn't say it is the best one of the Seventh generation. It is indeed probably one of my favourites JRPG of all time, but it was damn easy by the fourth disc. I would say that Mistwalker games are fairly easy, I had the same problem with the Last Story, despite everything was kinda awesome.

I've still have to play Tales of Vesperia and Xenoblade, though.

Do you think after you beat Ni No Kuni and the new game spark begins to wear away that Lost Odyssey will come back ontop?

Why is Ni No Kuni so good? It looks kinda like Blue Dragon to me which was meh.
