By the way, who has the "gimped, gimmicky controller" - surely you are not referring to the WiiU?

Edit: your sig is very distracting

The PS3 did. It had no rumble and relied on crappy motion control.

OK, but sounds like DS4 to me, i.e. gimmicky touchpad and move spport, etc. PS supporters don't want that kind of stuff, so why is Sony forcing it on them? Does DS4 even have a rumble feature, as I don't think they've mentioned that?

I love My Wii U, and the potential it brings to gaming.

Some are very defensive.
Anyway, Lately, Nintendo shares have fallen almost every time they show something (good or bad), so nothing new.

If you were Mr. Iwata, which you're not, wouldn't you make a Zelda that looks like the one in your sig. and just watch the stock price rise?

If Nintendo have a brain, that's what they'll do. A Zelda like that would draw in tons of core gamers who have moved on from Nintendo. One that looks like Skyward Sword or Wind Waker would only alienate them further.

Yeah, sadly Nintendo makes some 'strange' decisions some times. They are a bunch of stubborn old men running that company.

Yeah, they do make some dumb decisions, especially in the last two years. They're kinda bipolar, constantly pinging between genius and foolish.

Every controller has some sort of gimmick. From motion control to a screen to silly lights. The point is, the touchpad/lights arent being used as main selling points. We dont really know what the touchpad will be used for. If Sony use it for menu/net navigation it could be pretty good, like a laptop touchpad. I, a PS "supporter", would be happy with that.

The whole point of DualShock is rumble. Its why Six-axis controller didnt have rumble and before the original DualShock controller, the PS had the "Dual-Analog" controller. It wasnt until DualShock 3 that PS3 had rumble.
