I'll put it this way. I was planning on getting Wii U for cheap this black friday and get PS4 about 6 months after launch. Now, I will likely get PS4 asap and get Wii U closer to when Smash Bros. and/or the new Zelda release.

Tonight felt like next gen and while I do like Nintendo's IPs the specs of the Wii U suggest it will not give me that 'feel'.

Plus, Sony obviously held back since the majority of their first party devs didn't reveal anything. So I suspect E3 will be the time we see what the PS4 can truly offer us in the early stage. And the third party support seems to be there in spades. I will first want to secure a system that has both first and third party support before getting the Wii U. Either way, both will suit my gaming needs and both Sony and Nintendo have served my needs well since the PS1/N64 gen

not presently but I'm more interested in future announced exclusive wii u games than I'm currently excited about any of the future announced exclusive  ps4 games...but then this gen I didn't really like many of the first party ps3 games either(never really got into killzone or infamous...though I tried) and mainly played 3rd party'games on my ps3...so I'll probably still buy the damn thing unless there's a good enough reason to get the new xbox instead (probably decided by price more than anything)...

so to address the topic, the wii u looks more appealing to me, even though I admit it's not quite there yet... but things don't always pan out how they seem.

PS4 excites me more in terms of potential, but the wii U will undoubtably have its moment when its key 1st party titles arrive.

Does PS4 have Mario and Zelda games? Then the WiiU is more appealing to me.

Also by the time ps4/720 arrived, the wii U will probably be the perfect price for a secondary console. ($249) Just in time to pick up all the tasty 1st part exclusives!
