I've tried out other capture devices but they just have a few issues or conversion issues when I use them with Sony Vegas (i.e. audio missing).

FRAPs is the easiest at least to me and seems to be more user friendly than what I used before: Camtasia.

Some PS1 games seems like I might have to increase the brightness like Chrono Cross - so the final video when I do the game will be brighter.
Along with that some other games I'll have to increase the bit rate on rendering like as seen in Darkstalkers 3 - you can see the pixelation if you look carefully ;x.

I think they look fine. Personally, I dont use filters because I try to get the whole retro vibe.

My monitor doesn't support zsnes in full screen mode so I wont be able to get fraps going on it.

I guess i'll stick to n64 and GBC/a games :s

Come to think of it, I do have an older monitor from my previous computer. I think ill do a duplicate setup if its possible. I'll try tomorrow though.

They all look fine. Just the stretch is a little noticeable in some parts like in KH. But overall, great captures!

Are you talking about the cutscene FMV? I had to stretch it out cause for some reason there seems to be some sort of weird border lol.

Anyways those test videos I noticed some parts were too dark - might have to brighten it up like I do with my PC games ;p.

P.S. I'm actually getting tired of Pokemon White 2...been playing it since November or so XD. I wanna play a new game now *_*! Also editing a NDS game...so painful cause of the two screens...

I have the latest version however it refuses to fullscreen. Nothing but errors and crashes. >:(  I know it's not my PC, its more than adequate. I did some searching, and appearantly it's because my monitor doesn't support the native ratio settings required for fullscreen. (its the PS 3D display btw)

Yes, it was the cutscenes. But it was for the best then, but I didn't mean it like it makes the capture ugly or anything like that. It all looks well done.

I've been thinking of getting Black 2, but dem Pocket Monsters look weird now. This is the first gen that has completely turned me off :S

Yeah its unfortunate on why the cutscenes look like that - thankfully that only happens on two games though....Kingdom Hearts 1  and God of War 1  o.O.

Im actually doing a casual vintage playthrough of my old Pokemon games right now. Im playing Emerald on my Micro, and Silver, Yellow and Crystal on my old Color. Still very enjoyable. Although I'll have to replay them on Visual Boy Advanced at some point.
