The only Metroid game I've played is hunters on the Ds.

Finished Metroid and Super Metroid (not the best endings). Played through more than 20% of Metroid Prime, Metroid Hunters, and Metroid Fusion.

Not too interested in the series to be honest. Prime 2 was one of the greatest games I've ever played though.

Everything except either variation of the original: Metroid or Zero Mission

Metroid 2 - played it for few minutes

Prime 2 - half way done but got bored of it
Fusion - beaten

Like Rol, I've beaten everything except pinball. In my opinion, it's the perfect series.

I love Metroid games, but I have the hardest time finishing them. I usually get near the end and find that I don't have enough energy tanks to beat the final boss and the idea of hunting down hidden stuff in all the places I've already been is so exhausting that I leave it unfinished and play something else. I've never been a 100% completer and the Metroid games kind of punish you if you don't actively search under every rock. I own and have played about 90-99% over each Metroid game, with the exception of Metroid Pinball which I don't have yet. Maybe I rely too much on the energy tanks and not enough of suit powers. I still love the series though and keep buying them, I even bought Metroid Prim Trilogy so maybe I'll replay the first two games and this time power Samus up to the extreme.
