Learn to live in the present. If they can get the 1 game per major series out of the way for Wii U, maybe we can get some new IPs out of them... or some really old ones being revisited (like Eternal Darkness and Geist)

It's very very good imo. I can't see how any core Nintendo fans cannot be excited for even 1 or 2 games at least. 

It pretty much goes likes this:

Nintendo fans - love it
Moderate fans - like it (this means at least 1 or 2 games)
Haters - well obviously Nintendo could have shown anything and they would still be displeased.

The WiiU Play-like game was announced in the ND for the summer. The name isn't confirmed, but the game's release is.

I WWHD is confirmed for fall. I think it's very likely that Mario and/or Mariokart will be released for Christmas as well, and I suspect the Retro game is close even though we haven't seen it. I think it's very realistic that all are released, though one or two may be pushed back into winter or spring. X may not come this year, but it's close. There were many different environments on display, the combat mechanics working, the vehicles good to go. I don't think it's a stretch to say it could ship within 12 months if they wanted.

SSB4 will definitely be 2014 at the earliest, same with ZeldaU. But between now and next spring I think we could be hit with a ton of 1st party quality games. I knew many were coming but confirmation is always good. And X is much further along (and better looking) than I expected, and WWHD was a nice surprise.

Epic. Definitely. That would be enough to keep me occupied for the next three years.
