He needs to be Impeached... having that man in charge of the USA for another 364 days is too long... Fuck how did he even get elected in the first place, Americans (who voted for him) are ... *censored*

Just watch as a war starts with Iran this year... it's almost a guaranteed.

What about the Americans who voted *twice* for him? Isn't there a saying which starts "fool me once..."? I normally don't lash out at Americans, but I was really disappointed when he got elected the second time.

Regarding a war with Iran, I was thinking about that too today... does he "have time" to do that? He certainly seems to be dropping a lot of warnings, but who knows if he means it or not.

If only someone gave him a blowjob...

Senator Biden said during the debates that he would start impeachment procedings on Bush if he attacks Iran without authorization from congress first. Whether you believe he would really do it is another thing though!

bush has a whole year to get us into more shit.

i would love to see someone phisically slap bush during this next year.

All this Bush hate makes me sick. I don't understand what he fucked up so bad. He has turned around the situation in Iraq, and he has the nuts to continue the war on terror regardless of the all the pussy-liberal screaming. This "recession" sucks, but you cannot lay the blame on one man. And to all you internationals out there, you have not been attacked by Islamic extremists. You guys just keep your heads in the sand. Up yours. If a nuke goes off in DC in a decade, will all our pussy-footing around in the Middle East be worth it? No. It will not.

I did not field an opinion on the Iraq war either way before it began, and now of course we all know that the war started on bad intelligence. As a result of this, I turned against it. However lately Bush's "surge" appears to have started working, with Iraq starting to stabilize.

The primary reason that the world dislikes Bush is Iraq, but I don't hear too many people that decried his failures there standing up and saying how wonderful he is now it's started working. Furthermore, when I try to look at this from an American's point of view, I realize this. 9/11 was an enormous call to arms for fundamentalist islamists. All around the world they gave a cry of victory and pledged to destroy America. This placed the USA at enormous risk of terrorist attack. Now I ask you, if he is such a terrible president? Why then, against all the odds, have his policies prevented all terrorists from striking American land for seven years?

The main reason Bush went to war in Iraq was to ensure that the war against terrorism was not fought on American soil, he succeeded. To me, this sounds like something that has unfortunately begun to define the Political Left. A tendency to decry everything the right does while offering no viable alternative, only empty rhetoric. In other words, whining.

I used to strongly dislike George Bush's policies, but now I cannot deny that his strategy to combat terrorism has worked very well. As for the recession? As an economics student I can tell you that this was in no way George Bush's fault. Whilst some people point to huge budget deficits, what has caused the coming recession is the sub-prime crisis, which is largely beyond Bush's control.

HE may not personally be my cup of tea, but the man has not been the miserable failure of a President people make him out to be. And I am disgusted by the leftists that attack everything he does and then stay completely quiet when some of his policies work.

Bush is the man, you guys can all hate on him but that doesn't change the fact that situations fell into his lap that were out of his control. We got bombed on 9/11 largely because of a certain Democratic presidential candidate's husband being a pussy and not killing Bin Laden when he had the chance to. The UN agreed with him that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, everyone thought so. Why does he get solely blamed for this? Because you are democrats that want the White House for one of ur people. Then when we have Clinton or Obama as president we can walk around and apologive to the terrorists for being so mean to them. I voted for Bush twice and will vote for the Republican nominee because having a Democrat elected will be terrible for America.

no hes not that bad
but he is bad

And this is why there is so much support for putting constraints on violent video games.  Congratulations on giving them more ammo.

Yes, there is.

Anyway, with regard to the 2004 election, I was incredibly disappointed, but the fact is that the Democrats just didn't have their shit together. The country was still reeling from the attack in 2001, so the politics of fearmongering won. That, and Kerry just ran a pathetic campaign.

For Christmas this year, I got my mom a "Countdown to Bush's leaving the White House" calendar.  It has a tear-off sheet with a Bush joke for each day until inauguration 2009.
