Do you really want me to link to the plethora of blogs and articles in which journalists call for companies, including Nintendo in particular, to focus their business on iOS and other mobile devices? They wouldn't be doing that if they truly believed that good gameplay and tight controls weren't possible on those systems, now would they?

We both know they just want Nintendo out of the way, and this is the easier way to do it than just telling them to flat-out leave and go third party

Sony makes more first party games than MS yes but most of the appeal come from third party games. Actually its already known I have five games on preorder. Just can't buy one of them until january :(
I have mario, tekken (my favourite fighting game), mass effect, assassin's creed and ninja gaiden on hold. Of the rest of the games announced I intend to get need for speed, aliens, monster hunter, pikmin and bayonetta. Plenty of third party games. As for the comment about your games running well, here is a rundown.
call of duty = no idea about it running badly on wii u yet. But it is casuing ps3 hard drives to corrupt, crash constantly, codes not working etc.
mass effect = that is a port and the developers haven't had all the time they need to get used to the hardware. But for what they have they have done a very good job with it. It looks just as good (if not better) than the 360 and ps3 versions.
skyrim = lol bethesda games are buggy garbage on any system. And again, especially ps3.
grand theft auto = no idea how that runs on anything yet. But rockstar have a bad history with games on, you guessed it, ps3.
One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D
Nintendo won't go 3rd party.
We all know only Nintendo games sell on Nintendo platforms.
It won't sell elsewhere.
nah I think the one loosing the most money should do it not the one making the most!
just replace Nintendo with Sony and I will agree with what you have said!

I think Nintendo should give away their games to everyone for free. That's the only reasonable and logical business model approach, because clearly the whole exclusive software on proprietary hardware thing is no longer working, and hasn't worked in the last 25 years.
When will they finally learn?

Nah, there's plenty of money to be made in iOS. Look at the most successful iOS game, Angry Birds. It got downloaded a billion times! Admittedly, not all of those downloads were paid, but let's suppose a quarter of them were. That's $250 million in revenue right there. How many Nintendo Wii games managed that? Twelve? Fourteen? And how many DS games did that? Ten?

Making money is obviously overrated and we should donate most of our money to everybody else! Better yet, lets all become communists!
