Go to Account Management in the said PS3 and deactivate it from there.

Well smart arse, I did use a search engine and all the results I got talked to me about deactivating from a machine you already own, Which is not what I wanted. Also, what's the point of being on a gaming forum if you can't ask basic questions. I find it annoying when I ask a simple question people get arsey but when some random creates a vita/3ds etc is doomed for the umpteenth time, we get everyone rushing to it as if it's something new and exciting.

That post looks like something off a conspiracy theory website, with the black text and white highlighting, not to mention the RED CAPITAL ITALICS at the top.

I doubt it would be that cheap; maybe $149. Then, once you add in the hard drive and wi-fi, you've paid as much as if you had just bought the regular PS3.
Which is why I don't see it happening.
