So, after cleaning and reorganizing my room, for the first time in five years, I ended up with a lot of stuff I needed to throw away, and I went to the local dump. There, in the electronics container, I saw that someone had thrown an old PS1 console. Out of curiosity, I took it home to test it. And would you know it, it worked!
So it seems that my life-long ignoring of the playstation consoles is over, since I'll never say no to free consoles :D
I was lucky enough, that a copy of NHL 2001 was inside the console, and I already have FFVIII and MGS, because I found them for dirt cheap at a used game store and bought them for collecting purposes. But three games feels a little too thin of a collection, so now all I need for it is more games.
I thought, that before I start collecting for it, that I'll ask the ever so wise VGchartz users for suggestions. My resources are limited though, and I'm used to not having as many games per system as many other console gamers out there who build massive libraries, making long lists about every good game you know for it kinda redundant. So I'll introduce this limitation.
Tell me about two games that define the PS1 and what it's all about. At least what it's all about to you.
2 games, go go go! :D
I LOVE ICELAND!
