After watching the trailer on the psn store I'm interested again. I'll get it from a brick 'n mortar store though when I have the chance, same price for a digital download doesn't sit well with me.

Try the demo - better than a trailer.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

there pretty good, not perfect. You do have to aim at different spots. but I do have my PS3 and camera situated in a weird place. It is one of the best motion controls on the market IMHO

I think meta ratings have been a genuine blessing for forums such as these. They basically remove a lot of baseless bias bullshit, because it is the ultimate arbiter. It totally defeats member manipulation to suit their own purposes. Which is what always happened in previous generations. Where the focus was moved onto the reviewer in question rather then the game itself. Now we have one accepted score, and you may disagree with that score, but you know what. You can't claim this reviewer sucks, or that reviewer was bribed, or this reviewer has an agenda. Basically Meta scoring means you can't pull half the underhanded sleigh of hand bullshit that you could in previous generations.

Speaking to using these services, and they are services, and not just numbers. They are a great place to get a even better feel of a game beyond trusting one or even a few reviewers. I personally read the highest review score, the lowest review score, and a couple scores in the middle. That gives me a lot of different inputs on a game. Which I might not get otherwise if I trusted sources that may be in line with one another.

A great example was a game I bought used Rise of the Argonauts which scored about sixty percent. Had I gone off of one or two reviewers. I might still have gotten the same score, but what I might not have gotten was a true feel for the game itself. Basically it is a Knights of the Old Republic clone that was somewhat dated by what are today's standards. That said it feels like a modest improvement overall, and seeing as I still play the Old Republic from time to time. I just didn't find the issues to be big for me as a player. So when I did pick it up I have a fairly good idea of the game, and you know else I had a lot of fun playing it. Hell Bioware could learn a lot from the staff that made this game. In many ways the dialogue, and leveling systems in this game were better then gasp dare I say it Mass Effect. Perhaps they weren't fully realized, but there were some really great ideas here.

Anyway stop ragging on the service, and learn how to use the service. It can help out a lot when making choices. I think it would have been a shame if I missed out on the above game, because I didn't get enough input to suss out what the game was really like. It is one of those hidden gems that gets blasted for having flaws, but when you get down to it those flaws only matter if your looking for a different kind of game.

I was interested until I saw the art style. Killed it for me. Still hate to see it doing so poorly. I have a Move (to which, Rol told me, "I'm sorry.") and I haven't used it once since I bought it. Best motion controller on the market but the potential is wasting away while lesser devices have thrived.

For the record, I have Dead Space and Sports Champions but I played Sports Champions with my sister's Move before buying it for myself and never bothered to play it with my Move. I never gave Dead Space a try.

Personally I think inFamous 2 works really well with Move. I played a few hours of inFamous 2 with DS3 before downloading Festival of Blood. But after having inFamous 2 Move enabled, and getting over the learning curve of swapping from DS3 to Move, I wouldn;t want to play inFamous any other way. Still need to get a Nav controller though before I do my evil playthrough.

I think they ruined the charm the E3 demo of Sorcery had by making the main character a teen rather than a tween, and making it less cartoony. If they'd kept the art style and age of character as in the original e3 demo I think the game would be more well received. A pity really.

69 isn't bad for a motion control game. I reckon if you take all the Move only and Kinect games together then 69 on Meta is probably a touch above average. As of right now it's on 70.

The good thing is there are no reviews in the red zone so far. An OK meta with no red zone reviews means the game is worth a look if you are at least somewhat interested in Move controls.

Quote from the lowest score so far: "Sorcery is like baking a cake, but with only a teaspoon of sugar, one egg, a pinch of flour, and a tablespoon of baking powder; all of the ingredients are there, but there's not enough of each ingredient to make the magical game that PlayStation Move owners have been looking for." Now for a 55 score this quote comes from that's pretty good. Normally a 55 score has very little to say that's complementary about a game. This quote seems to be more about the reviewer being disappointed at not having high expectations met rather than anything else.

If it sits at 70 on meta then I think that's gotta be a pretty reasonable result.

Waiting for Edge review... Edge will either love the game way more than anyone else with a 9 or they'll pan it with a 3 or 4, I reckon. I can't see Edge giving the game a middle of the road review.

That's usually the case with motion controls when they're done really well.  I remember when I got RE4 Wii Edition and after a learning curve, I suddenly realized that I was NEVER going backt to the old fashioned way.  Then, we never really got another game (Or I never bought one--except Prime 3.  That was amazing.) that took advantage of the control scheme.  Same thing happened when I got Killzone 3 (sold it, though.  May buy it again just for the 3D mode since I got a 3D TV).  I was death incarnate!  It's what I was waiting for in an FPS.

If Sony wants to sell some Move controllers, make it compatible with Call of Duty Black Ops 2.  When they're done right, nothing can compare with them on consoles.  People just refuse to take the time to do it right or they only use it for lower profile games.  Anyway, I'll end my little rant by saying this:  I have inFamous 1 but I never picked up the sequel.  You just sold me on that game, my friend.

The only problem is that Sony has no control on whether a 3rd party game would have Move support or not. YOu think Sony wouldnt love to have COD games use their Move?? Not gonna happen, either MS is shutting that shit down or Acti doesnt want to spend the extra time doing it. IM shocked that GE even had Move support for PS3.  Your damn right people dont take the time to do it right, but in some rare cases even when they do it doesnt matter. HVS motion controls are actually not bad for Conduit but the games are so meh, that it doesnt really matter. GE had the opposite thing, good game, but motion controls were kinda bad, thank god it was heavily customizable.
