I really doubt it...  I do specifically remember one of the bosses being named Red, though, and his portrait was just red, with no actual character in it.  I doubt it was Tobal.

Battle Arena Toshinden ? (i fucking loved this game and it's sequel)

You know what?  i'm going to say that just might be the game...  i can't see two games doing the same thing with the portrait like that.  thought his name was red, though.  lol.

This happened to me a while ago but THANKFULLY I remembered one of the cheat codes I used to type into the game and I found it based on that.

Would've driven me CRAZY if I didn't get it (asked around all the forums I knew lol)

Crazy enough to make you go insane, get put into a mental institute, then kill yourself, then the people who run it found your dead body when they just realised you weren't insane and they were going to set you free but you already killed yourself?

WTF did I just read?

You just read a demented post by NintendoPie.

PS1 game, you run around in some kind of castle setting various creative traps (to obviously trap your enemy, which is a zombie, I think (?), I'm not sure)

It could be this one  http://hardcoregaming101.net/deception/deception.htm

Damn. That was fast. I tried to look for it before but couldn't find it. Thanks!

@Troll_Whisperer

Thanks, though, but I think I still have that game. I enjoyed that game too much to forget it. That, and the underrated Fors

Clock Tower?

No.. it isn't; but thanks, I've never heard of this game but I may have to check it out.
Wiki shows it's on SNES, and PS2. Have you played the series? Is it any fun?
Because if it is okay-fun, I may have to buy It (the SNES version)

By the way you haven't mentioned is it 3D ? or 2D?

is it Home Alone? , do you play as a girl or a boy?

I actually remember every game I played except for this one...well I know the game and have it, but I just cant remember the name of the spelling unless I look at it.

The Magic of S____

It was for the NES, it was like a RPG-Adventure, about some people in Arabia, you play as a some sort of guy who goes into time or something and is trying to save a princess, its a well made game for its time and by a developer that was really small compared to other developers in its time.

Fantastic thread.
Man, I remember playing this game on SNES. A 2D platformer adventure game and all I really remember is you are some island-dwelling looking dude who is trying to save the girl he likes who was taken away. (There is a cutscene in the beginning where they are sitting I think on top of a tree or hill or something :P and she gets taken away by I think it was a witch, don't really remember) Anyway, I wish I can remember the name.

There is one game I've haven't been able to remember the name of for years now:

- it was for the NES or Commodore 64 (or maybe another platform?)
- top down game
- you play as a helicopter or some sort of airplane that can fly around the the map
- a map would consist of a bunch of different sized islands, with a sea surrounding them
- enemies on the map would be ships in the water, vehicles on the ground, other planes in the sky, and bases with numerous turrets
- I think the objective was to destroy each base on the various islands
- (not sure if this last point is accurate) when playing with a second player, that player could control the various enemy units on the screen and they would try to shoot you

raid on bungeling bay?

Wow, I think that's it! Thanks for figuring it out and posting the name.
